The Regretful Brother

Not only the sudden voice made your wings to tense upwards, but you also turned around rather quickly when your train of thought was broken; a really soft hiss escaping your lips as you stared at the…apparent man in an armor?…

Not that what he was saying something too crazy, though…

“And who are you?…do you happen to know something about my powers?…because it’s the first time I see you around here and…I don’t think anyone here knows you…I think…”

“What I know of your powers could only be judged in person. Thus my reason for appearance, to gauge weather you should be left to your devices unsupervised.” 

“I know far too well that power brings the worst of mortals and gods alike. Arguing with such a fact is not but begging to be a puppet regardless of origins.”  Brushing off Flandre’s request for names as they lifted a hand which brought sparks of electricity then shortly dispelling it. Showing that what they would say be true. 

“ B l e h- cold. “

“The more I learn about my powers, the more questions I have about them…there is the possibility of using them to destroy even the existence of superior beings such as gods, no matter how powerful or immortal they are, or creatures as ethereal as ghosts…but why was I born with these powers?…why did they only start working when I reached a limit with my parents?…and why would someone as normal as me have something so dangerous in her hands?…”

“I just don’t get it…why am I the one with a god’s powers in her hands when I am not a god?…”

“Why, indeed.” Spoken out from behind, an influx of energy much as a moonless night. 

“To wield such powers that are catalytic in nature. Only few could resist the urge to run amok with out a care nor thought. The title of normal no longer applies to those with such powers.”  To one who'd view upon would soon gaze on figure clad in darkness. Metal claps from the floor underneath as they proceeded to step toward Flandre. 

“I was beginning to grow concerned when the birthday cards started getting return to sender stamps on them.”
