Currently Reading: His Bloody Project - Graeme Macrae Burnet I’m enjoying the format of this - it’s an investigation into a triple murder that was ‘discovered’ by the author when researching his family tree, including an account from the murderer himself. It reminds me a bit of Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood.

While I enjoyed the format of this, I didn’t find the actual plot all that interesting. You don’t get any real answers and I couldn’t find myself really caring about the main character. 

Currently Reading: Americanah - Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie This is beautifully written and I’m particularly enjoying reading Ifemelu’s experiences in America. Really looking forwards to seeing Chimamanda speak at Women of the World in London in March!

This was a fascinating read that gave a real insight into race in America from the point of view of someone who had grown up in a country where their race had never been something they’d had to think about. It really stayed with me and I found myself missing the characters and wondering what they were up to, days after finishing the book.
