Okay, there's a lot this chapter, but I think my biggest question is who the fire lady is and if we're supposed to know who she is. Is that Dannan?
Regardless, Guts having some special awareness because he was born from a corpse is something I think makes a lot of sense. He already was aware of fairies at a young age.
He and Griffith have always been foils, so to have them be sort of cosmic reflections of each other also doesn't feel wrong. I think I've enjoyed this chapter the most. Guts being reborn was such a powerful moment. curious about other people's thoughts....
This has me feeling optimistic. Plus, I think chapters are being released in July and August I think.

This is the first book in a trilogy, and the second book is already written essentially, I just need to edit it. I plan to release the second book in two to three months, and the third one two to three months after that.
I'm really picky with my romance, and am generally dissatisfied with a lot of modern romance trends. So I tried to write something that would be appealing to people who like romance and who are like me and want something just a little different. I don't know if I can call it good clean fun, but I really wanted to make the read feel like they were falling in love.
This series is going to explore love vs duty, the nature of evil, and how to forgive others... and yourself.
If you ever watched Naruto was like, "Man, I wish there wasn't ninja magic and also more romance!" This is the book for you.

If you don't have kindle unlimited it's $2.99, which I priced that way because its less than a coffee (at least where I live,) and you'll enjoy this for a much longer time than a coffee! I am setting up the paper back edition as well, but am going to need to do some market research on prices there... I don't know if this money talk is taking the magic out of it, but I am a nerd who finds these things interesting.

So this is my novella and I decided to advertise it here because I just realized that the main character definitely shares more than a few traits with Guts... that was done subconciously I swear... But yeah, if you like MCs that are scarred, missing an eye, hair is turning white, and who has an association with dogs... you might like this story!
I actually didn't know how to draw men before I started reading Berserk, so I think all of my male characters have a little piece of Guts haha.

So I went down an AMV rabbit hole and found one funny one and a lot of sad ones (I will put them at the bottom)
But the sad ones man they make me sad. I forget I still technically haven't watched the eclipse all the way through at a normal speed (the one time I did it, I watched it on fast forward and legitimately looked away at parts). Anyways, one of them included fananimations of stuff that happens later including the part where Guts loses the one thing he didn't think he could lose.
I'm not crying, but more so just sick to my stomach. I'm hopeful that we will get a conclusion eventually, but when we do this whole series is going to be a gut punch. at least for me it's tied to some sort of significant life events that when I reread I sort of can't help but remember.
Whenever I want to dive back in, I sort of struggle because its all so depressing.

My thoughts below
There are some hard scenes in Berserk, but I think how hopeless and listless Guts currently is is the hardest way to see him. I think my own attitude for Berserk was much like that for the past few years hence why I've been less active.
Like Silas' reaction to Guts just accepting his own death is how I feel but I also feel like Guts. It's almost selfish how everyone just expects Guts to remain as he was when he's lost literally everything for like the nth time. The only hope I got is Schierke looking for Casca.
I'm just so bummed we got so little time with returned Casca, but I get it as well.
On the brightside I think the art has finally hit its stride. The early chapters with just the team were a little rough, but Guts really looks like Guts.

dunno if I'll ever make them because the last AMV I made sort of sucked. Actually, I'll put that on tumblr so I don't get copyrite claimed? That's what was stopping me from putting it on youtube. Keep an eye out for that lol.
