HAPPY BDAY TALES OF BERSERIA!!!

so im not tooottaally satisfied, but i managed to get 5/7 fully finished pieces done this week and im REALLY happy about it

its been about a year since ive played berseria, and this past year has been really hard for me in multiple ways. but setting out on this project was a contributing factor to me feeling the best i have in months, especially because tales of berseria has been one of the few things that have kept me with something to smile about… i really love this game and im so happy i played it last summer for my last birthday

so.. funny story. i messed up and accidentally skipped prompt 4 because i mixed them up. OOPS!! ill do that sometime today or tomorrow. my bad. terribly sorry. well, at least this piece is technically on schedule since its super early in the morning haha

i’ve been wanting to make a magivel soundtrack for a while, or rather two: one for all the dark angsty songs that fit them in canon, and another for the quirky love songs we’d all like to imagine COULD fit them, in another life

thing is… i can’t find enough songs for either…… so i’m just gonna post what i’ve got and put out an open call for anyone to add to my lists. take a listen and comment with your own faves!!

rokurou/eleanor, scar worship, mildly nsfw in that it’s suggestive and contains nudity. ~800 words.

As much as Rokurou has heard about Eleanor’s scar, he’s never actually seen it before.

Now, as Eleanor unclasps her collar and allows the fabric of her dress to fall into a loose pile around her waist, Rokurou carefully trails his gaze over the patch of visibly puckered, pinkish-orange skin. The wound she sustained was clearly a large gash, stretching from slightly below her collarbone to just above her stomach, and having cleaved straight through the valley of her breasts. The mark is almost half as wide as her rib cage, and back when she was a little girl, it must have nearly covered her entire chest.

Not wanting to stare too long, Rokurou glances back up into Eleanor’s face, noting the way her lips are slightly pursed and her breaths come a hint too quick. She was the one who insisted on baring herself to Rokurou, claiming that with their relationship on the verge of becoming physical, he should see exactly what he’s getting into—but naturally, she’s still somewhat nervous. She doesn’t shy away from his gaze, though, so Rokurou dares to push just a little further.

“Can I touch it?” he asks.

Slowly, but determinedly, Eleanor nods.

❝  But I do fear one thing… I’m afraid that when I turn into a dragon, I could end up hurting the very people I want to protect.❞

  ❝ You have someone you’re trying to protect too, don’t you? ❞

❝  … My little sister… ❞

i was really tired after today so this ones a bit simpler! trying to keep up on these as they come although i do have a few other things id like to work on before the week is up

this took WAY longer than i expected it to lol… dont count on like any of these illustrations being done on time ( i knew i shouldve done them in advance but i wasnt feeling good for a solid chunk of this year.) IM HAVING FUN THOUGH and thats what counts

no particular symbolism here, the segment in meirchio is just dear to me and ive always wanted an excuse to paint it so
