I walk past your shop often, never really had a reason to go in though. Might stop by if I want some hair stuff done or a manicure.

I run the joke shop just down the street from you, you’ll see me with all the Halloween decorations out in the window.

Yuri: I hope it doesn’t become one 😭😭 but I just feel how I do before it happens

Yuri: Yeah need to figure out when I’m gonna do it.

Yuri: I’m not feeling well right now Eli-phant…. I feel like a migraine is gonna start 😖

Elias: Make sure you tell me how it goes!

Yuri: True... he does like when I cook for him. I can also set up candles and flowers he always loves that.

Yuri: I don't know how to bring it up... maybe I can plan a surprise for him. And make it special

Ty scratched Ace behind the ears when he hopped up onto the couch, before finishing off his muffin.

“It’s always good to have a bit of extra help.” He smiled gently at Eli and met his eyes.

“You have a nice place here by the way. It’s cosy.”

That it was. Soon enough he’d have Sam and Yuri in the apartment to help with sewing it up for Halloween. He trusted both the men to be able to help him with this, and he was sure if they worked together he’d be able to get things done.

Yuri: I sorta had a dream last night that's been making me think a lot..

“Oh wow. That cut is absolutely flawless. It looks really good!” Ty inspected it and felt the fabric. 

“Is it not difficult to get the cut just perfect? That’s what I’ve heard anyway.”

Ty took a sip of his hot chocolate and another bite of his muffin, turning briefly to see Ace chasing his tail.

Oh, I can buy my own candy — there’s just not much reason for costumes as an adult unless it’s Halloween parties or trick or treating with little ones, and honestly watching a seven-year-old get excited over his dads dressing up is highly entertaining. Seeing the look on his face might actually ease the sting of the lack of shindigs.

YES! Look at you, knowing what you’re talking about! That’s it! It was pretty good, and funny. Are most superhero movies comedy crossovers? So, wait, why does Marvel have more than the DC? Do people just like it better? Or does their stuff just not translate as well? Ohhhhhh okay, yes, that makes perfect sense. But like…Okay, follow-up question, who’s the villain? 

Woah, that’s totes nifty, I like that. You’ve deff inspired me to look more into the Lantern people, that sounds rad. And there’s a ring too? I mean, the best accessories are supes important so, there should be! A cat and a ring? Okay, now I’m totes interested. I love cats! They’re just such adorable little bubbles of fluff. 

That’s incredible! So do you, like, sew? I’m guessing you do, but sometimes on RuPaul’s Drag Race the contestants who can’t sew well will hot glue things. Apparently that works just as well, even thought I would have, like, never thought so. The Riddler….That’s the one with all the question marks, right?

No, most are action movies. Before the Avengers came around DC movies were a lot more popular, but now it’s Marvel’s turn I guess. The villain is a different person each time usually, like Ultron or Thanos. 

Dex-Starr is a red lantern, which are powered by rage. He’s a mean little kitty but I love him still. Dex-Starr’s ring goes on his tail. 

Okay, okay, let me like, try to make sense of this. I feel like I should be taking notes or something! You totes know so much about all this! I think it’s supes cool. Okay but like…I think the last superhero movie I was was the one with the Whammy guy? Sha-Whammy? Something like that? I don’t remember, I don’t watch a lot of movies. I’ve heard about  Avengers but like, I don’t really get it? Probably because I haven’t seen it but like…What exactly are they avenging? I don’t mind long-winded if you want to share. I totes love it when people talk about what they’re passionate about too, so deff go off if you want. Why are there so many Lanterns? Couldn’t get street lights? Ha, ignore me, I think I’m funny sometimes. Ohhh, WolVerine. Gotcha, gotcha. Wait, dozens? I totes have to look more into this, I’ve clearly missed so much. 

That’s so cool, Elias! Like, deff cool! It’s great to be into something like that, really passionate and all. Do you ever make your own stuff? Or is it mostly stuff you buy? Either way is deff still amazing, you’ll have to show me sometime. So I take it that means you’re dressing up for Halloween then?

Oh, you’re thinking of Shazaam! That one is DC Comics. DC does have some movies out but Marvel has like, over 20 at this point. The Avengers avenge the deaths of anyone that the villain takes out! 

Okay so the Lantern Corps is the rainbow, plus black and white. You can become a Lantern when you embody an emotion a color represents, like green is willpower or blue is hope. You get a special ring to go along with your Corps and you can make weapons that come out of the ring! There’s even some animals that got a ring, like Dex-Starr the cat.
