Burgeramt at Boxhagener Platz in Friedrichshain is one of Berlins most famous burger joints. Despite their fame they always stay innovative. Tasty, fresh and affordable. Our reccomendations: the gorgonzola burger and the chicken peanut burger.

Markthalle 9 in Kreuzberg is a market hall that is all about sustainability. There are countless stalls with regional and organic vegetables, fruit, bread, dairy products and a lot of non-food stuff. If you’re staying in Berlin for a while and you need a little diversion, Potsdam is always an option. Just take the S-Bahn or a regional train. an in just half an hour your’re in a totally different city. Park Sanssouci is one the most beautiful places we have seen in germany.

Have you ever been to Teufelsberg? A magical place with probably the best view over Berlin.

Everyone who is into meat should visit the Domke butchery on Warschauer Str. 64 in Friedrichshain. If you’re really really hungry, try the pig knuckle.

This small joint called Flint next to the station Zoologischer Garten has some quality fast food to offer that actually feels healthy. A steak sandwich with finest beef or chicken, and roasted sweet potato. That’s the kind of urban street food we love. You can find Flint at Hardenbergstr. 25.

If you’re walking through Charlottenburg and are feeling a deep urge for a decent Schnitzel, then you should pay Café Bleibtreu a visit. Proper servings for affordable prices and it’s tasty as well.
