Ultimate Tron - File 3: Not backing down, Yori/Lora
Alan drives and parts his car bike near Flynn’s place.
“I don’t think this is a good idea.” Alan turns to see who said that. It was Lora Baines. A young tough woman with black short hair and looks like she could kill you and tear apart your scary movies.
“I don’t like it either. But well I don’t want to end up liking those missing Encom employees.” Lori replied to Alan’s comment saying “You think Dillger had something to do with those employees?”
“Well I know it’s not you. And I hope it isn’t Flynn.“ Alan says as he opens the door and enters the coffee shop/arcade. Tons of customers. But they seem to be more on their laptops playing other games. Rather than playing in the arcade cabinet.
The duo notice Flynn cleaning one of the arcade cabinets. But then Flynn notices their reflection on the screen of said cabinet he was cleaning. This excites him.
“Hey guys. Long time no see.” Flynn runs towards Lora and the both of them give each other a hug. Meanwhile Flynn gives Alan a hand shake. Seems more awkward for Alan than Flynn.
Flynn replies to Lora “He’s doing fine. Apart from sneaking out of school.”
“Didn’t you and Jorden use to do that as well?”
Flynn’s response to Alan’s comeback was simply “Point taken.” Then asks “Could I get yah something to drink? Or….”
“We're not here for the drink.” We’re here to send a message.”
Flynn goes quiet for a moment after Alan interrupts him.
“Up stairs. 15 minutes.” Flynn walks away. Leaving his old friends behind.
“He’s not gonna back down is her Lora.”
“I’m not gonna back down.”
The three are in an upstairs living room area. With a couch, desk and…. Well it’s more like a cool basement than an office. Flynn is changing into a different shirt and jacket while the three of them talk.
“Are you trying to get sued?”
“At this point Lora. I rather be in jail than do what that asshole wants.”
“Look Flynn, Lora and I are trying to prevent you from becoming one of those missing Encom employees.”
“That’s why I’m doing what I’m doing, Alan. The guy took our game. Claimed it as his. And our crew disappeared at the same time as Jorden and a few other indie devs. It doesn’t feel right.”
Flynn takes out his phone. Pulls up a game to play while he talks to the gang.
“So you think you’ll find out where they went, by breaking into the system.”
Flynn puts his phone away and says
“Yes… and I won’t stop till I find the band, my wife, and prove that Dillinger. Stole Space Paranoids. Away from me and Alan. And find out what he did to everyone.”
Lora’s face is reflected through a computer screen. As she says “well at least we tried to warn you.”
Meanwhile in the grid. Clu sits in a cell facing a program who looks exactly like Lora. She calls herself Yori. Clu looks somewhat shaken up.
Servel flashing images are burnt onto his face. Including…
him, Yori and another girl named Hara2 fighting off against sark and his overwhelming forces.
a riot truck blowing with multiple programs with neon light business suits getting Derezzed from inside. And Hara2 getting deleted right in front of him. By Sark, stabbing through her stomach with his disk. Her pixelated remains splattering his shocked face.
Clu broke the silence and asked Yori “You think we broke up because our users broke up.”
Yori then replies with. “If the MCP continues with whatever the hell this is. God knows if even Hara2’s users would still be alive.”
Hearing that name. Name pains him. Even more so after a flashing image shows him and Hara2 kissing, while watching the sky.”
“You know Clu. Maybe once we get out of here. We could…”
“I’m not gonna back down, Yori. Not until my mission is complete and done perfectly.”
