Some time has passed: he went from first page to the seventy sixth. Someone knocked on the door, destroying peaceful atmospheare of the room. - Hugo, are you there? - it was his father’s voice. He hasn’t heard it in a while.

- Yeah, hi, dad! - the door opened and Ron Weasley entered the room. He looked tired: like he had to work all the time or something like this. - Hey, kid, - he said with a smile. - What are you doing? - Reading, - Hugo showed him the cover of the book. In some novel he once read that that’s the most typical reaction you have: you never actually say the name of the book, just show it. - Oh? Nice. It’s mine, right? - dad made a few uncertain steps in his direction, still smiling. His uncertainty was becoming more and more obvious, it was like he was nervous, and not exactly sure what to do. Hugo was surprised to notice that it still was hurting him. - It is, yeah, one of the “Muggle” series. His dad nodded. - I used to really like these ones. - They’re pretty funny, - agreed Hugo.

His father’s room was in bright red and orange colours. Apparently his grandparents haven’t changed here much since his dad moved out. It smelled here: not a bad smell, just like some type of flower Hugo possibly wouldn’t be able to name. He wondered what created it: his father has never seemed like a flower-liking type.

There were some prizes here: his dad was really good in Quidditch and also a hardcore fan of “Chudley Cannons” (most ridiculous choice of the favorite team a person can make). He also was a prefect of Gryffindor at some point.

Hugo got on the bed and, feeling weird and creepy, smelled the bed sheets, like trying to find some smell connected with his dad’s youth. He tried to imagine his father being Hugo’s age. His life was far more interesting and dangerous than Hugo’s ever will be.

Another wave of jealousy, but he used to this feeling. He was a constantly jealous boy, stuck in the magic world, to which he didn’t belong.

He took a book and started to read. Words didn’t matter much, he enjoyed the process by itself. He was alone, and could pretend here, that he’s not a Hugo Weasley, a squib, but Ron: a prefect, Gryffindor’s team captain, best friend of the most important person of the magical world.

So yeah back to listing all amazing custom content I use! 

About reshade: it still hasn’t changed, I was just adapring it a bit to scenes with fireplace (and I feel that I failed miserably haha, it got too dark there :( )

So yeah this is for parts from This one to This one, but I didn’t include appearences of Potter brothers and Rose, poses and two objects It’s in the next one Sorry :(

Her wonderful hair (I really like them, I feel like they so ageless you know? It’s usually difficult to pick something for eldery sims, sadly): by @sintiklia

Scars (okay, so for me it was crucial to choose something which will not look sexy, but will actually represent pain etc etc. I think these are perfect for both tbh) by @msqsimblr

- There you are! - Albus got up their stairs, next to him: James, who looked like he just pulled off some horribly distasteful prank (as always). - We were thinking about short game of Quidditch, while everyone’s getting ready?

- I’m in! - Rose screamed immediately. Then added sounding surprised: - Wait, James, you’re in too?

- Weirdly enough, yes. Besides, everything’s better than watching new attempts to fit thousands of people in this ti-iny kitchen.

- Louis, you’re in? - Louis scoffed in response.

- It’s raining, - he nodded to the the window.

- Barely! - Albus and Rose said in unison. Louis sighed and mumbled some incomprehensible phrase of agreement.

- Hugo, want to be referee for us? - their faces were gleaming with joy.

- Nah, sorry, I promised to do something for grandpa, - Hugo lied. He liked spending time with his cousins, but it was kind of boring to watch them play some weird type of Quidditch with way too many Bludgers and several Quaffles.

- Okay, but are you sure that it’s fine? - his sister seemed concern.

- Yes, Rosie, I’m pretty sure, that grandpa knows what he’s doing, - he smiled. She nodded: seemingly his words reassured her and she looked happy and relieved, and they all left, leaving him alone.

He opened the window, to let so untypically cold air get into the room, and went up the stairs, hoping to get a few calm hours together with his father’s comic books collection.

She and their cousins Fred, James and Albus went on a two week trip to Norway together, even though their parents weren’t exactly into the idea. They dramatically run off, using Floo and muggle trains, and were already in Scandinavia when their disappearance was noticed. Typical Gryffindors. They spent next half an hour listening to Rose’s stories, which were accompanied with some extreme gesticulation.

Through the whole thing Louis looked annoyed and was clearly not happy about not being invited even though they rarely talked and were hardly friends.

Hugo enjoyed listening to Rose, even though he couldn’t ignore a shadow of jealousy.

- I’d love to, but don’t remember being invited, - muttered Louis. - Also is it so difficult to actually articulate the whole name? Or did you develop some speech impediment lately?

Rose ignored him completely returning all her attention to Hugo. Her eyes were actually sparkling with her optimistic energy.

- Mountains! - she said, - you won’t believe how huge are mountains there! Also we’ve been at North Cup, ever heard about it?

- Cape, - corrected her Louis.

- Whatever, - she waved at him. - It’s amazing! Changed my life!

The moment he said it, there was some noise on the stairs. Someone was running up and enthusiasm - audible in every step – was hinting who it was.

- Hugo! - his sister appeared in the room: just as happy and energetic as always. - Kid, wow, you grew up! I want to know everything, tell me everything right now! Oh, hi Lois, - she winked and got on the bed next to Hugo, hugging him so tight, that he started to worry that he won’t survive it.

- I love you so much! - she exclaimed, looking at him and smiling like crazy. - How’s school? How were exams?

- Do you even have exams in your school? - asked Louis with a small teasing smile.

- Yes, I do, and thank you they went well. Kinda.

- “Kinda”?

Rose laughed happily. She was so energetic, like something extremely good has happened (which  didn’t seem to be the case), but well it was so typical Rose .

- It’s such a pity that you couldn’t go with us to Norway, Hugh! - Louis made some sound, responding to that, and she apparently just remembered that he was actually also in the room. - And you, Lou, you should have totally join!
