Update and honey for sale
Hi friends! I’m using daylight savings as an excuse to make up for all the excuses I have for not posting on here for a while… so in this post, I’ll announce the biggest harvest yet as well as give an update!
We’ve had yet another record-breaking honey harvest!!! More than 200lbs!!! Woah!
With the help of my friend Aaron Noga, we were able to push the limits on what Benny Bee Honey is able to do and a shout out to him is definitely deserved! We hope to continue to grow year after year.
HONEY FOR SALE!!!!... finally...
2/3rd lb. - $9.00 (comes in an 8 oz canning jar)
So please feel free to use the contact page on my website www.bennybeehoney.com in order to make an order. I do request at least a $3 donation for shipping or we can coordinate an in-person pick-up. These jars of delicious honey make wonderful gifts! (Ship to the continental US only).
UPDATE BELOW!
Here is a list of all of the life changes that have gone on in the past 1.5 years… (1.5 years because that looks like how long it’s been since I last posted on social media).
-Raising a toddler (My oldest is really not a toddler anymore… but I’m in denial) he’s actually tryng to hpt me write this… it’s not going well haha!
-Moved from Deerfield, NH to Dover, NH
-Finished graduate school (masters in chemistry)
-Started my first teaching job
-LOTS of home renovation projects
-Still convinced that I love teaching
-Started the process to become foster parents (it’s a long process)
-Newest son was born 06/07/2019
-Applied for and was accepted into another new job
-Had a wonderful summer with the new baby
-This wonderful summer included, however, a hospitalization of that baby
-He underwent treatment for infection - baby is doing VERY well
-Started new job at Dover High School teaching Chemistry (commute… is like 6 minutes)
I am fully intending to be more settled. Beekeeping has been more of a bear (pun intended) minimum for the past 2 years. I hope that moving forward, I can put together some more content on my website as well as keep in touch better with you all. Life throws us curve balls but once monthly posts are what I expect from now on. I want to talk about bee biology, random projects (like rebuilding my trailer because a bear broke it…), the important chemicals in and around beekeeping and more!
Thanks for your support and interest!
Ben
