i’m so glad i made barry? i made him on a whim of pettiness because i knew an ex friend of mine (who turned out to be a complete and total asshole so no love lost there anymore despite a messy split) wanted to write him and i was drawn to several characters from the justice league promo, so i chose barry bc he was one of them and a chance to stick it to said ex friend.

Anyways an IMPORTANT BLOG ANNOUNCEMENT is that Bartholomew Henry Allen is nonbinary as fuck, and I’ve felt like this for a while now and just haven’t really known how to go about incorporating it into my blog properly but. It’s a thing. He still uses he/him pronouns namely for ease (and also because he does primarily identify as masculine), but they/them pronouns are very chill too. Sometimes you just wanna be gender non-conforming, and that’s just how it is.
I ABSOLUTELY plan on fleshing this out more in the future since this post is a bit rushed and not really comprehensive but like. I wanted to make sure I got this out there given the shit that’s happened, so now y’all know! Keep an eye out for future posts about how Barry being nb presents and how it affects his life because those are coming! For sure!

“ i’ve never really cared for the cold either. ” or the HEAT. it made both summers &. winters relatively unbearable for him, but the winters were always the WORST. ohio. not the best of living choices for someone averse to a little chill. cold made him slow, not to mention the fact that it was impossible to run properly in the snow without tripping.
