A selection of Seiu Ito’s work… 伊藤晴雨 was a Japanese painter born at the end of the 19th century. He used to take pictures of his models to paint them later. I love the roughness in his work. He was touched heavily by the censorship of the 1920’s but managed to continue his art anyways and died in the 1950’s.
