I’m actually feeling really excited tonight! Tomorrow… or rather today I’m going to Barnes and Noble to pick up a copy of a book I did the illustrations for! This is a first for me being a published middle grade book illustrator! :D I am excited to see how all the printing quality came out! I’ve been having a hard time getting excited about life stuff lately, so this feels really nice. It’s not my favorite art I ever made, but I’m definitely so proud of myself! <3

Congress voted Wednesday to fund the government through Dec. 11, a temporary measure that averts a government shutdown at midnight. Thursday marks the beginning of the government’s 2016 fiscal year and federal agencies would have had to furlough thousands of government workers if Congress had not reached agreement on a funding bill.

An editorial illustration for the Commonwealth Times for an opinion piece called “Not Just a Number”. It was about VCU’s intention and reality of helping students individually in such a large university.

My final poster for this season of Radical Change at the Firehouse Theatre. This one is for Maple and Vine. It’s the story of a New York power couple who decides to live in a cult that acts like it’s 1955. It’s ridiculous and very fun. I had a blast with this old fashioned television set!
