My Favorite Music Inspiration from 2012
Here are some musical inspirations of mine that may help to inspire you as well.
Since 2013 isn't over yet, I'll wait to compile a favorites list in the hopes some long anticipated albums will still come out before 2014. I think I can post a fairly comprehensive list of some of my favored albums of 2012 by now. I don't like to use the word "favorite", but I did knowing I will most likely forget to, or not mention several albums. If you think I forgot some important ones comment. I'll let you know if I forgot them on purpose or if they need honorable mention.
I am listing in alphabetic order and trying to keep things, how shall I say it, as "accessible" as my music library allows. I do welcome recommendations though, as I am always finding new and old music I have never heard before and I try to keep an open mind.

Author & Punisher - Ursus Americanus: One of my favorite musicians, relatively new to me, I posted his address with the video Terrorbird from this album.
The Blood of Heroes - The Waking Nightmare: Apocalyptic concept album with incredible artwork too. Some of my favorite musicians in this superband.
Corrosion of Conformity - Corrosion of Conformity: Ultimate album from one of my all time favorite bands. Crossover pioneers still as good as they ever were in my opinion.
The Company Band - Pros & Cons: For fans of Clutch and anyone else who thinks they know how to rock.
Devin Townsend Project - Epicloud: Epic-loud, no other description required. Devin at his best, check out The Retinal Circus if you like this. It is quite epic also.
Down - IV Part I - The Purple EP: Heavy and addictive.
Fear Factory - Industrialist: Great album, Pitchshifter cover too.
Gojira - L'Enfant Sauvage: Like every album from Gojira, another classic.
JK Flesh - Posthuman: Justin K. Broadrick produces so much work it is staggering. Godflesh and Jesu might be worth checking out if you like JK Flesh as much as I do.
Killing Joke - MMXII: Post punk gods who just seem to get better and better as they go on. I am a huge fan of all their work, so really a good band.
Melvins Lite - Freak Puke: You may know The Melvins but if you don't now is a good a time as ever to discover them.
Meshuggah - Koloss: Technical and innovative jazz fusion.
Modo Generator - Hell Comes to Your Heart: Kick ass punk sound on this album.If you want to know anything about the rest of these albums just check http://www.discogs.com/ or http://www.metal-archives.com/ Both are good places to reference music.
