“Oh, my sincerest apologies, Ms Kinsman,” Richie replied, shaking his head and placing a hand over his heart. “Bells! It’s you, how I’ve missed you!” the taller male exclaimed dramatically and reached a hand out towards her. “Come here to me, give me a proper embrace that I’ve longed for!” he told her, making a grabby hand at her to beckon her closer. He laughed at that and rolled his eyes at his best friend. “Ooh, Isabelle gets off a good one!” he told her, shaking his head at that. “No, it’s not what gets me off, but the detective was hot, and i got off to his detecting skills, duh,” he told her as if it were a matter of fact. “You know how a good deduction gets me going.” Richie laughed, following her back into the apartment.
“Precisely,” He replied, nodding along to her answer. “If you already know, why bother asking?” he asked, brows raised at Bells. Richie couldn’t be trusted to do the responsible thing, everyone that knew him knew that the man would need supervision to get anything done. Unless it was something that was of interest to him, it was doubtful he’d ever get it finished. Especially when it was work or even slightly laborious. “Yeah, the fuck is up with that?” He asked, shaking his head at Bells’ observation about their fellow bandmates. “What could possibly be more important than US?” he asked, shaking his head again and sighing in disappointment. He grinned at what she said next and nodded. “Hells yeah, THAT, I can do. It’s their own fault, really. They left us both unsupervised with the alcohol and the license to ingest said alcohol.”
Bells laughed at his change in attitude, shoving him playfully as he made grabby hands. “Remind me why I’ve put up with your shit for so long?” She teased, shaking her head. With a roll of her eyes, Bells poked her tongue out at him. “How many times have I told you not to call me Isabelle, Richard?” The girl scoffed. Her eyes flickered to the TV, before she nodded. “Oh, yeah I’ll give you that. Hotter than the last guy you actually had a thing with at least,” She joked with a wink. “Just as long as you don’t try and get yourself arrested or something stupid to try and find yourself a cute detective. I do not need to be bailing your ass out of jail.”
“Maybe I’m hoping one day you’ll actually have me pleasantly surprised.” With a shrug of her shoulders, she pulled out the glasses. Pouring without bothering to measure, she slid one of the glasses over to him. “Fuck knows, they can be boringly responsible some times. Nothing is more important than US, we’re the best,” She grinned. “Exactly. Only got themselves to blame.” Holding up her glass, she clinked it against Richie’s. “Cheers. To our first tour, and just generally being hot pieces of ass, or some shit.” With a wink, Bells took a sip, ignoring the burn the liquor gave as it slid down her throat.
