I love the things you hate about yourself

“I know I am late”

“Pleasure to meet you, I’m Richard.”

“Pleasure is all mine Richard”

“Yeah, I always thought it’d be fun to play with one and do cool stuff with.”

“What kind of cool stuff?”

“Nope. I never had time to take care of one, but now we have staff to take care of all of the boring stuff.”

“Did you always wanted to have a dog?”

She shrugged. “Probably. She should probably get some food or something too.”

“Yeah that too, and a leash, and a bowl to put her food and water...” She frowned “Have you ever had a dog?”

“Great then she stays. I just need to let the servants know that they should probably dog proof the house.”

“Shouldn’t we get her a tag or something?”

“god forbid!– this thing does not look clean.” 

“It’s not a thing, it’s an animal”

‘’And you just ruined my selfie.’’

“Nah I made it fun, it was too serious for it’s own good”

“Your father should like her? Right?” She was still a newlywed afterall and didn’t know everything about her new partner.

“I’m sure he will, I used to have a puppy when I was little after all”

“Yeah I guess so.”

“Anyway, I’m Belle”

“I get that we signed up for a reality show and what that entails, but the camera men don’t even let me breathe without getting it on camera. It’s getting to be a bit annoying.”

“I know, they are creepy. Sometimes I wonder if they ever truly leave you alone”

“Yeah, I guess you’re right. But, she still might help keep our mind off all the craziness.”

“It would make us a little bit more normal that’s for sure”

“That’s adorable.” She rubbed the dog behind the ears. “Maybe she’ll help us adjust to all of this.”

“It’s a dog Brooklyn, not a miracle maker " She rubbed the dog’s back

“What should we call her?”

“Maybe Summer? “

“I don’t know maybe. I was thinking about getting her, as an addition to the family.”

“She is beautiful, it would be a very good addition to the family”

“Sorry that I couldn’t be much of a help.”

“It’s alright no need to apologize, at least I get to pet her a little bit longer”

“Sadly she’s not mine.But she surely is lovely.”

“That’s a shame, I would love to know what breed she is”
