following a lead on the knights of hanoi had taken him to the city. sure, he frequented the city due to school ( and on rarer occasions, kusanagi ) but that didn’t mean he enjoyed it. admittedly, he wasn’t good at conversation. he avoided it at all costs. there wasn’t any point to it unless it would take him closer to his goal. so, being packed like sardines in a bustling city wasn’t yusaku’s cup of tea.
his clue wasn’t a name ( again, surprising, as finding such information proved to be easy for yusaku – but the knights of hanoi were nothing to sneeze at, either ), but gpa coordinates. maybe those were better, anyway. he didn’t know who he was looking for, which made it a bit risky, but yusaku was getting desperate. all he’d been doing lately was dueling low-ranking members of hanoi. they weren’t getting him anywhere.
as he reached the destination of a school, he had to wonder if the coordinates were wrong. perhaps they were looking for the wrong things, or more likely, the coordinates they found were just a decoy. it wouldn’t hurt to look around … as long as he didn’t get caught. yusaku was pretty good at blending in – no, at fading into the background. just as he was thinking those things, he realized he’d been standing there for a while, and that he’d somehow caught the attention of a student.
“ ah, i’m … i need to find my classroom. ” he lied. obviously this wasn’t his strong suit, but he’d do anything for information at this point. // @belicf
helping someone in need was something that yui always tried to do. so, it's not surprising that when she noticed a boy who in no way looked like he went here, she wanted to help if she could. she watched for a moment, that uniform wasn't from the night school... maybe he was transferring from the day school? it had been some time since she attended the day school, their uniform might have changed.
when he hadn't been heading to the office ( despite it being clearly marked ), she decided to walk up to him. he had to be lost. when he spoke up, even she could tell he was lying. his moment of thinking before answering her... not to mention how much he stood out in a place like this, he didn't seem like he was supposed to be here.
" ...are you sure you go to the night school? your uniform is different than ours-- the teachers won't let you in without a proper uniform. "
