CAPITALISM-is a system of free trade wherein private businesses exist
But, as we can see from before, capitalism caused all those problems with the proletariat because you've got the business owners that are super rich and only exist to profit, and then you've got the laborers who can only REALLY labor because capitalist society doesn't really let them benefit
The thing about communism is, it only works if EVERY single member of a society agrees on a state run everything, and it only works if the state isn't corrupt. Which was sorta the issue in russia. They took all the land from people in order to collectivize the agriculture, and they took the wealth sorta from the rich, but the politicians remained in power, and still passed legislature only benefiting them. Rude.
*Also, an interesting note is the idea that no one individual can own the product of their own mind, in that it's not a private thing anymore

Communism is basically socialism on steroids!
Communism is sorta a utopian idea of society where there's no class issues, money issues, or racism.
COMMUNISM- the idea that everyone in a given society receives equal shares of the benefits derived from labor. Everyone owns everything equally! To do this, they collectivize all labor, all farms, all production, everything. (see stalin's five year plans)
While communism is a great idea in theory, (If you're a radical free thinker like me) sadly, communism fails pretty badly in real life. *
Basically Marxism implies that the proletariat, being the largest class, will eventually overthrow the upper classes in a large social conflict, and the desired effect is a more equalitarian society. Basically it leads to socialism!
SOCIALISM-a socioeconomic state based on cooperative ownership of stuff. (everybody gets things) an offshoot of that is
UTILITARIANISM-where they maximize benefit for all people, stuff goes to the people it will most benefit sorta
