i’m making my first ever visual novel, i’m so sooooo excited to finish it. 😖😖
i’ve already made some sprites for the main characters and some backgrounds as well, there’s a lot of work to do yet, but i’m trying my best to organize my schedule so i can keep the game's development continuous.
this is just a sneak peek of the actual progress, i swear to you guys that I'm working hard on this project because it's something I've always wanted to do ever since I played my first visual novel game.
What’s the game about?
The plot follows the story of mc (you), who works in an old record store. You lead a monotonous life without many achievements to be proud of, however, someone always catches your attention as soon as they enter the store: Neo. He's your neighbor and also studies at the same college as you. He goes to the store often, but only to look at the records and DVDs, never buying anything. You find him quite strange. He and the man who lives with him. Maybe they're brothers, cousins... you're not sure. In fact, you know absolutely nothing about them, but then why, when you see Neo, do you feel that something from your past is connected to his? And all this because of a pill you took some time ago.
Release date?
i plan to release it at the end of this year, maybe around Christmas or near New Year's, i don’t have a specific date yet.
