ben solo canonically loved his mother so much that he felt like he couldn’t go back to her after luke made him feel he was too evil to be kept alive and then snoke/palpatine burned luke’s jedi academy to the ground and made his classmates turn against him. he didn’t kill her when he had the chance. leia saying his name at her deathbed distracted him from fighting rey and leaving him vulnerable. at the end, his mother waited for him to come home before being one with the force. ben solo canonically loved his father so much that snoke/palpatine falsely promised him that killing han was the only act to finally push him to the dark side, but it backfired and it only made the conflict within him worse. han knew what was going to happen, but he was willing to do anything to bring his son back. ben was haunted by his mistake until the conflict within him subsided when han appeared to him one last time. leia was right, han would be the only one to reach ben because he’s his father. ben finally killed kylo ren after having closure with the death of his father and mother. ben solo canonically loved rey so much that he gave his own life up for her. after learning how much his parents loved him that they sacrificed themselves to bring ben solo back, he returned it by transferring his life force to the only other person who was vocal about believing in him–the only other person who was able to reach ben solo. the only person he ever loved apart from his family. ben solo gave up his life to let rey live, the same way his parents did for him. ben solo was loved so much and he gave that much love even after being pursued by the darkness all his life. 

They literally melt movie screens when together. War Horse did not do them justice…please pair them together again. As in RIGHT NOW!
