July Birchbox (As I explained in my previous post, my next 4 reviews are late!) *Whish lavender body butter (s)- Like most people I'm guilty of associating lavender with the older generation. This has a sweet scent though which may be due to the raspberry butter, yum! Any body butter/ lotion samples I get I try out on my thighs and this one really worked. It moisturised and firmed them so it's no surprise the tube is now empty! If lavender still isn't your thing then they also have pomegranate, almond and lemongrass. *Laqa&Co lip crayon in Menatour- Although I didn't want the nude shades I was scared of using this one. I've used black lipsticks before but never a purply pink! However, once I did get around to trying it I think it's definately one I will be using again. It's not too in your face so can be worn on a normal day. It contains peppermint so it's tingly when you apply it. I think I will be buying a lip liner to match just to crisp up the edges. *Benefit Porefessional (s)- When I squeezed the tube I was a bit worried as it looked like a foundation as opposed to a clear gel I was hoping for. However, this was not cakey at all, was so easy to blend and has a matte finish. It doesn't make pores invisible but would make a great base for make-up. *Models Own nail polish in Rocket- I don't like this particular nail polish very much as it looks quite childish. It's very long lasting though and I might wear it for Bonfire Night. I am a fan of Models Own in general as they bring out loads of new amazing colours and glitters. They're available to buy at www.modelsownit.com or from larger Superdrug stores. *Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream (s)- Unfortunately I've lost this sample so I'm unable to give a review. *Filosofille 4 way nail buffer- A must have nail care tool! I thought I'd get the same results from a cheaper version but I was wrong. You don't need to press very hard to file your nails with this one and it's great at smoothing out nail ridges. Even the buffer itself is pretty and for those of you who haven't used one before it says on it what each side is for. You won't need a big manicure set anymore! Overall it was a really good box and even the things I wasn't particularly excited about have turned out to be hidden gems. Maybe I'll find that eye cream one day?!
