If your sizing chart looks like the above–

No, seriously.  I mean it.  Fuck you.  Sideways.  With a starving rabid wolverine stuffed inside a salted saguaro…

People with waists larger than 38″ deserve to be able to look hot in gear that fits them, wear things that make them feel sexy, go out to the pool in sexy swimwear, and have perverted fun playing around and fucking in kink gear, too.  With a sizing chart like that, whatever your alleged intention, you are making very plain the message:  “If you have a waist over 38″, then your body is simply not meant to be seen in sexy gear.  38″ is Extra-EXTRA Large.  Beyond that, you’re just fat.  Fat is disgusting and not sexy to anyone.  *You* are disgusting and not sexy to anyone.  Nobody wants to see your disgusting body, especially in public!  If you’re not going to have the decency to cover that shit up, at the very least, you won’t be parading your horrible disgusting fatness around in OUR products!  GROSS!”     

And yes, I’m looking at you, NastyPig, Timoteo, Cellblock13, Clever, Aussiebum, Pump!, C-IN2, 2(X)IST, Papi, Tulio, Diesel, Rufskin, and so many others… 

I’m not telling you that you have to cater to bigger bodies–although your decision not to does nothing but actively perpetuate the idea that bigger bodies aren’t attractive and should be hidden, which is utter horseshit–but the descriptive sizing, which could just as easily be numerical only, makes the leap into fat-shaming.
