✅ “Seafood” is almost always uncountable in everyday English. ❌ The word “seafoods” is not commonly used.

Here’s why: 💡 “Seafood” is like “fish,” “meat,” or “fruit.” • It’s a category of food, so we usually treat it as uncountable (no plural “s”).

✅ “I love seafood.” ✅ “Seafood is expensive.” ✅ “Do you sell seafood? ”

💭 When could you ever see “seafoods”?

You might see “seafoods” very rarely in technical or commercial contexts to mean different types of seafood: ✅ “Our company exports various seafoods like shrimp, crab, and lobster.” (Here “seafoods” = kinds of seafood)

But in normal, everyday conversation or writing, just say “seafood.” ✅ “Seafood is my favorite.” ❌ “Seafoods are my favorite.” (not natural)

🎯 Quick Rule to Remember:

📝 "Kick you out of something."

Think of the word "out."

You're leaving a place or a group.

Examples:

"The teacher might kick you out of the classroom."

"The boss might kick you out of the company."

"My mom kicked me out of the house."

🛑 NOTE: The preposition "OF" is fixed by usage, not logic. So, saying "kick out from" is not the usual way people say it. Just always remember the fixed expression "out of."

📝 "Fire you from something."

Think of the word "from."

You're losing a position or a job title.

Examples:

"The boss might fire you from your job."

"They fired him from his position as manager."
