This whole partnership started with a conversation @coffeeandtheton and I had about smut writing, what it is, who does it well, how do we make it our own, and how we hate the word and need something else, so Coffee figured it out, a tag was created, and now the chapter to go with it is here. So without further ado, we present 'plot driven intimacy' Enjoy!

okay so @coffeeandtheton and I are very excited about tomorrow and weren't really planning on teasing it, but if it will make your day, we're willing to do it:

“I missed you,” he admits. He feels Kate sigh into him “I missed you too. I’ve realized you're kind of my favorite person. Quite a change from the bane of my existence.” “And you,” Anthony says, “are the object of all my desires.”

also, this is the headspace we should all be in ahead of tomorrow:

I often have this feeling around those high functioning people. They make wise decisions on about everything and have it all. It is as though they are actually solving household problems with game theoretic modeling and optimization algorithms, and sometimes it turns out that is indeed how they naturally operate in life.

So good thing Kate is Kate, Anthony is Anthony, and Anthony cannot be without Kate. Otherwise this guy would be just as efficient when he eventually sets his mind on another target and his previous pursuits will be ruined.

I think, and that's true with both of the couple we talked about, that we can truly see how they complete one another. Anthony wants to buy a house, Kate will make it a home, Anthony buys the two ground floor of the building, Kate will - you'll have to wait to see what she does.

Rest assured, our last two chapter, which can be nicknamed “immediate bliss” and “epilogue” respectively will provide the unhingness. And yet, still not my most unhinged.

They both invest in real estate before the love confession! 🤣

It’s almost like, the game plan is to build a beautiful castle, stand by and wait for the moment the princess wanders in, lock the door immediately and throw away the key so she could never get away.

So so sweet but a little bit concerning if you think of it this way 😂

Well Model Behavior Anthony ended up not buying that first property, but I get what you mean.

chapter 17!! was inspired by one very specific scene that had @coffeeandtheton and me screaming in the doc, feel free to guess why!

and because you asked so nicely, this is where Kate and Anthony are at the top of the chapter:

“My dress arrived,” Kate says as she works. “Oh. good. Are you happy with it?’ Kate nods, “It’s a beautiful dress. You’ll pick me up?” “Of course. It’s—it’s in the contract.” “Do I need to have four vases ready?” Anthony chuckles, “You should know the answer to that by now.” Kate shrugs, “Didn’t want to assume. Here you go.” Anthony nods slightly as he takes the drink. “Thank you,” he mutters and turns to walk out. “Anthony”, Kate stops him, and he turns, “here.” “What’s this?” “It's our new breakfast muffin. Greek yogurt and blueberries. A granola mix crumb on top.” Anthony takes a deep breath, “That sounds delicious, I can’t wait to try it.” Kate nods, “You’re the first, so let me know.”

and @coffeeandtheton and I are currently on another doc trying to figure out the summary of our next story, which we have only 1.5 chapters left to write.

listen, we have no idea how we got to It’s All Coming Back To Me Now. It was suddenly there. it happens to us sometimes. keys are typed on the keyboard and voila! Anthony apparently sings Celine Dion.

I don't think Anthony sings in public. But, let's see the first time Kate hears Anthony sing:

Kate unlocks the door, Newton barreling ahead at the first sliver of the open door.

"Ant, we're here!" Kate yells out. placing the keys in the bowl, Anthony's already there.

She places her overnight bag by the couch, Newton already curled up in his bed.

"Anthony?" Kate calls out again, wandering further into the flat, until she reaches his bedroom, more theirs than his at this point and opens the door.

She hears the water running from the bathroom, and then as she walks closer.

There were moments of gold

and there were flashes of light

We see just what we want to see

all coming back to me

Kate jaw drops, the voice of an angel that one, she remembers Ben explaining, but she didn't expect this.

Carefully, she closes the door of the bedroom and pads over the bathroom, taking off her clothes before walking into the steam.

"Hey you," she says, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Hey," Anthony says, holding onto her arm, "I didn't hear you walk in."

"well you were a bit busy."

"I didn't know I had an audience," Anthony mumurs.

"well," Kate says, her hand traveling down his chest, "it did give me an ideas"

"It did?" Anthony gulps.

"a few even," Kate says, "if I touch you like this."

"yes."

"and if you kiss me--"

She doesn't have to finish the line, because Anthony has immeadtly lifted her up against the tiles, her legs around his waist.

"I think I get where you're going with this," Anthony says, bitting on her ear.

"you do?" Kate asks, already rolling her hips.
