Beer: The Experience

There are a few things in life that I love: My wife, my English bulldog Hemingway, books, writing, golf and oh, I love beer. The look, the way the bubbles dance and the way the head rises and falls, the smell of hops and roasted malts, and the crisp, cool aroma of a well crafted lager, the taste (See: the entire spectrum of flavor), and the lingering thoughts as to where it came from as it washes over my palate. What I enjoy most, however, is the intricate experience of each one that I am lucky enough to imbibe on. This page is a chronicle of my journey to taste and experience the life in 1,000 new, unique beers in the 365 days known as the year 2013. It will follow and complement my hand penned journal as well as keep me up to date when I am on the go without a pen in hand. There will be reviews to keep you in the mix but I will not give too much away. That is for the book that will follow this quest.
