I feel like you'd just migrate to his armpits regardless while being asleep (or awake).

In the beginning of your guys relationship he would try wiping the drool in the morning to not embarrass you but after a while he'd just move you to a non drool part of his chest. I think he just accepts that he just has a drooling mess in favor of an amazing partner for life. Good trade off in my opinion.

Sitting watching the tv while mindlessly working an project in a hotel room. Sometimes peering at the screen catching a sum what to whatever Vevo song being played but overall being bored out of your mind. Closing the laptop and flopping into the duvet covers mindlessly into thought. Feeling homesick is one thing even with your husband being busy but being stuck in a hotel room, waiting for him to get back to bed rot with you.

Hearing the click of the door you sit up to see Ray shrugging off his bags on his way to the bed. Softly petting their face seeing their shared exhaustion, silently understanding the need for each others company. "I have a break tomorrow so we can just… stay in for a while."

Humming in acceptance and going back to silence.

Sighing and taking off his clothes and discarding them to the floor for tomorrows issue leaving him in his briefs and your wandering eyes. Scooting over for him to get under the blankets, tugging you alongside him to his fluffy chest. Finally giving into your slumber you start mumbling a -good night of sorts while he just snorts and turns over and snuffing the lamp and tv, giving a kiss on their cheeks and closing his eyes for the night. Finally something that was just for them.

Having Gerard after their end of their tour coming home carefully dropping their bags and taking off their shoes. He hopes that he’s not waking anyone in the house, quickly checking their surroundings before slowly padding off to the bathroom to head to bed.

Once he washes his makeup from this morning he peeks over the door toothbrush lodged comfortably in his mouth as he checks that his lovely darling is sleeping away the worries of the day. “So beautiful yet so tired.” He quickly finishes up in the bathroom and quietly gets into bed, charging his phone on the nightstand and turning to admire the person who always sleeps more comfortably in his bed than himself.

Completely enamored with the sight of them snoring softly into their pillow he moves their hair away and places small kisses along the hairline finally finishing off with pulling them close to his side for comfort after being so far for so long.

“Tomorrow we can tackle the world together but tonight, let’s just be together.”

Whispering softly as he takes the final yawn of the night and succumbs to the stars and moon dancing around the sky. A farewell to the critters who are still awake tonight.

Hearing the soft sounds of typing as you wake up and groggily turning to your husband being engaged into his editing of his story in your shared bed. “Hey it’s late.” He whispers, catching on that he accidentally woke you up. He takes off his glasses that we got him this Christmas. ‘He seems to like them more.’ Mentally taking note to get him another pair later. He gently pulls you close and dims down the brightness on his computer screen to not hurt your eyes. “Do you want to hear me talk or do you want cuddles and silence because we can absolutely do that.” Peppering small kisses on your face and cheeks for one soft kiss on your forehead.

“You pick, I don’t mind what we do since I woke you up. I’m sorry.”
