He, who had been described in the book as pretty miserably and lonely with his life of fame, returns to… exactly that. So not only does he lose Eddie, but even after Eddie’s sacrifice and all they lost, Richie is the only who returns to EXACTLY the life he had pre-reunion where he wasn’t happy :(

Eddie Kaspbrak and Stan Uris are such great characters it would really suck if anything ever happened to them.
