Her appearance was based on this photoshoot of the actress wan qian! mainly bc the clothes look like she could've made it herself since she's a weaver. personality-wise aurin was inspired by nerissa/faith from the wolf among us and the fairytales little mermaid and donkeyskin in general, mainly bc of the theme of the loss of one's voice and using disguises to protect oneself. (Her voice claim is also nerissa btw)

middle row: ronja (scarlet hollow)

her design is basically inspired by this image: the intense and seductive gaze, as if she's reading your soul like an open book. I think it suits her traits quite well (which is hot and mystical, I finally decided didjjdkfjd). Elisabeth from GDT's frankenstein and Elisa from shape of water was a big inspiration for her disposition: always curious and unafraid of the other.

Last row: elsie (akotsk)

her dress, her hairstyle and overall aesthetic is based on three wishes for Cinderella's version of Cinderella. Elsie also shares a similar personality to her: playful, observant and unafraid to speak her mind, especially with maekar. her whole concept is inspired by erika from the absolute classic masterpiece barbie the princess and the pauper, she's the pauper. :)
