The other day I got a push notification on my phone saying: "Hey we just updated some software and now your phone needs to restart to complete the update."
Okay, no big deal. So, I do the natural thing and hold down the phone's Power Button on the side.
Lo and behold... a fucking AI THING pops up!! "Ask me whatever you want! I'm listening!" And with immeasurable disgust, I immediately realized what was going on.
These fuckers... changed it so the power button now activates their AI chat bot, then purposely sent me a notification to get me to push that button and activate their AI bot. They TRICKED me into potentially shoveling money into their stupid money-pit. And it's absolutely nefarious because I still need to know how to restart my phone for this and future "updates" so I'll need to find that out and oh hey look I have an AI right here already activated guess I can just ask it how I restart my phone.
NOPE! I searched it up. Gotta hold down the volume button too in order to turn off your phone. And hey, I admittedly only turn off my phone when it needs to update really, so perhaps that has ALWAYS been the way to turn this kind of phone off. But I can smell this bullshit from a mile away.
And obviously, you bafoons, if you have to TRICK people into activating your product then it must not be a good product!!!
