Hey guys
I know for the past two weeks I have neglected to post an update, and I'm incredibly sorry. With everything that has happened, and is continuing to happen, I've been too overwhelmed to even consider updating. However, I have begun to see an counselor and to take steps towards correcting that, so hopefully by Thursday I'll feel okay enough to post an update.

Well. I think we found Dan's shoes.
This is grossly colorful, I know. But it was super therapeutic to color it.Â
Anyways, tune in next Tthursday to see what Beez has in his lil' demon tummy. For now, updates will be coming at varying times until classes start up again and I have a set schedule.

Due to some severe anxiety, a lot of stress, and a a very very busy work schedule lately this weeks comic will be late... To be honest, I'm considering permanently changing the day the comic updates to better fit my schedule, since I typically work all weekend and don't have time to update it.
Actually. I think this is a good idea. It's decided, from here on out the comic is updated on Thursdays, starting with this thursday, as I am always scheduled off on Thursdays.
Sorry about the wait, but hopefully by doing this I will be able to provide you all with better quality comics! See you on Thursday!

I'm sure you all noticed the absence of comics these past two mondays
The first was because Andrew was in Nebraska. The second was because Andrew came back and we... broke up. Now, the comic no longer has a writer. I'm going to try my best to make it work, but I ask that you bear with me. This was a joint project of ours and a lot of the work put into it (including reminding me to actually draw it) was all because of him. The story, dialogue, layouts, and pretty much everything but the final product were all decided by him. Now that I'm on my own it will be a lot more difficult, and things might seem a little different, but please stick around. I'm going to try and make it work.

I think Beez might be the kind of cat to hold a grudge.
And now the moment you've all been waiting for...
Drum roll, please!
CONCEPT ART! We'll go in chronological order, so you can see how the characters developed and progressed.
DAN:Â Originally Dan was supposed to be pretty troll like.Â
But we decided that was too troll like, and he needed to be somewhat attractive.
Unfortunately, he also needed to be a schmuck, so we toned down his confidence and put-together-ness a bit.
Bunny slippers will now be a recurring theme throughout the comic, thanks to Dan.
CLAIRE: Claire's design never really changed. In the comic, she started off with long hair but the plan was always for it to be cut early on. The only thing that really changed was her accessories, which have yet to make an appearance.
BEEZ:Â Believe it or not, we haven't designed Beez in his demon form yet (and even if we had I wouldn't tell you :P), but he has gone through a few changes. At first, he had a nose and more of a "cat mouth," and was going to be all white.
Then we decided to put some color in his tail.
A stripe seemed to fit him better though, so he tweaked that a bit. His face also hadn't changed at this point, but we felt that we wanted him to look more serious. He's super adorable and all, but he's still a Lord of Hell. At this point, though, I was drawing Beez every chance I got.
If you all look closely, you might see some hints as to what will happen later in the comic... ;)
But that's all folks! I hope you like it, sorry for the crummy image quality. I currently do not have a scanner OTL But again, sorry for the delay in comics, it's been a super busy week for Andrew and I. We'll be back on track by Monday though!

Where is he!?
For all of you who patiently wait for 168 hours, yearning to see the next Beelzebub, you will be astoundingly disappointed to be reading this message instead of your usual graphic adventure! Side note, we are somewhat flattered at how violently upset missing our comic makes you; we are glad you like it and have made it part of your weekly routine. Needless to say, Beez will not be making an appearance this week due to some misfortunate events. Long story, short, a certain ingestible bovine secretion was spilled onto a certain graphic illustrating device by the hands (or may I say, paws) of a certain K-9 companion. You guessed it, a band of shaggy-haired street urchins ransacked our abode only after remarking with things like, “Oy, what about the little guy?” and “I gotta be back by five or me mum’s gonna smart me good, sir.” But who could have predicted a thing like this, besides the constable himself (whom we have informed). We apologize deeply for not being able to supply you with your weekly fix of malevolent antics, and hope that you would still keep a vigilant eye on the Beelzebub page. We will return to our weekly schedule as soon as those poor children stop snapping together in unison or flipping dusty old coins into the air with their thumbs.
For a demon of Hell Beez isn't that great at attempted murder.
