I’m sorry but when I’m doing a big pull or fighting some big ass boss, i can’t see that. Sometimes I catch it, especially if I’m being more aware if there is an AST in the party, but other times I truly don’t see it. Please make a macro.
Fix your graphics, be more raid aware. Yes, pay attention. I know it’s hard at first but, I have faith in you.
My graphics are at max and I don’t raid often. I do pay attention but sometimes it really is just hard to out that ring of glitter among other sparkly, glittery attacks.
I am also just trying to get better at looking for them, and I’ve improved, but I’m not perfect. Making a macro would just be helpful, like when tanks use macros for hollowed grounds/holomgang/living dead.
Some advice to help this! I highly recommend going into your Character Config and where the settings are to turn off other players battle effects, set Party Effects to “Limited”.
This turns off most attack animation effects but still shows ground effects such as Earthly Star, Asylum, Sacred Soil, Doton, and Shadow Flare.
This will save your life and make you have an infinitely easier time positioning and seeing things as a Tank!
