I always call my loved ones “doll” - my son, my friends, etc. I have also been saying it to the guy I’ve been seeing. He’s started calling me doll too, like when he answers the phone or we’re chatting about something by text. “Hey, doll!”, “Nice work, doll!”. I don’t know, I just think it’s cute. And it’s nice. He’s listening and he likes when I call him that enough for him to do it back.

Posting this on here because almost all of my friends are in different stages of their love lives, but I just generally feel like they’re tired of hearing about him, and I think it’s mostly the skepticism because of how rocky it all started out. But things are good right now and I want to share that, or acknowledge it, I guess. I don’t really care if anyone actually reads this.

The last thing that I’ll say is that I miss him!! It’s so crazy because it’s a really physical feeling. Like in my gut or in my bones. I FEEL his absence. It’s not just a longing, it’s like an aching.

Anyway. I think I might love him. I definitely have love for him, at least.
