ngl sorry I didn’t know that I had asks in my inbox thing so this is probably from like a super long time ago 😭😭😭 however I do agree with you on both points and I guess I’d have to say that my most controversial opinion is that I think hinata and sakura if they switched teams would have served the narrative a lot better and made more sense.. love them both but I feel like they were on the wrong teams and it would have made the intended character relationship/dynamics and the ending make more sense

Sorry for not posting hetalia slop but here’s some of my academic art in case you wanted to know what I’ve been doing this semester

Characters are still p much a wip but i made changes to his skin color (fair and lovely treatment) only just to differentiate him from india and to make it more accurate to the majority of actual pakistani skin colors (i was told that they tend to be on the lighter side so i just made his color less warm and a tad lighter but nevertheless hes still a brown skinned king frl frl)

ive kinda been exploring pakphil recently with my philippines oc and recently created pakistan oc 😁 if im being so fr they’re actually so cute together and i honestly credit my boyfriend (hes pakistani im filipina) for telling me i should draw them together and for feeding me with headcanons (mr pakistan is a collab oc between me and him but im the one who draws and posts everything so its all coming through me LOL)

Their basic dynamic is that theyre kind of in a situationship/fwb but it will eventually grow into an actual relationship eventually (hopefully ?) Mr. Pakistan dates with marriage in mind but i fear he is intimidated by Miss Philippines and her independent nature so he pursues her without commitment due to his fear of scaring her away or giving her the ick. Miss Philippines likes him back but she thinks hes just playing her— but she keeps coming back to him anyway even though he makes her mad frequently.. Lack of communication final boss

Heres them taking a smoke break (he knows its haram but he keeps that and his drinking on the dl >_>)

Some other hetalia junk:

Mr. India and Mr. Pakistan in two different styles (more realistic + semi realism which is more true to my actual art style) i just wanted to map out the differences in their features and i think im happy with it. I might make mr pakistan’s skin color a little lighter as per my boyfriend’s advice that pakistanis tend to be on the lighter side and to differentiate between him and india but i like the drawings regardless and im too lazy to edit <3 any suggestions are welcome

What i generall wanted to convey with their designs is that Mr. India has sharper features with a very outgoing and cheery disposition while pakistan is a lot softer and almost more feminine with a more serious and maybe gloomy-ish personality

They are brothers and they beef a lot and pakistan’s green eyes freak india out
