Anon submission: I often find it halarious that a community so based on touching grass is mostly only online.

Halarious not in a haha laughing at you way but in kind of a sad way lol.

Like I think of how *physical* shifts are. No necessarily physical shifts, but shifts in general.

Not just shifts, but the yearning, oh, the Yearning.

The Nonhuman Yearning.

The tactile ferocity of wanting to bite, howl, oh, to yearn..... for cuddles and nuzzles,

these are all aspects of physical touch

and we are all confined to our screen cages.

Because we are so few and far in between.

It's legitimately comical as is so frustrating lol.

All I read here about the nonhuman experience is the tactility of it, the yearning of touch as language, body language, the visual proximity. It's freaking wild and I think it's why sometimes I distance myself cause it aches, to see a wolf or cat wanting pets and all I can do is imagine petting this cat that's on the other side of the world.

The nonhuman community is some of the most tactile communities out there and we just sit here on our screens and beg and plead to the ether for tactility because so many of us are isolated in our lives, and dont have anyone who sees us as our true selves.

To beg to a sky that one day we can be pet.

To screech rawr howl or squeak in proximity, oh, the therian touch of ferocity.
