Growing Baby Bear

12+4. I had my 12 week appt last week and the babies are growing and healthy. I also got my blood drawn for NIPT. My partner hasn’t been able to go to any of my ultrasounds but last night I found the babies with the Doppler so he could hear and he was excited. I just want him to feel included.

11 weeks! The babies are the size of limes! Going to announce next week if all goes well at my 12 week appointment. Ready for the nausea to ease up.

10 weeks. Today was one of the hardest days I’ve had as far as sickness. Hoping tomorrow is a better day.

9+6. I had a voluntary ultrasound today for sonography training since I’m carrying twins. Both gummy bears were moving around and kicking! Baby A measured 10+4, and baby B measured 10+1. Both heartbeats were in the 160’s so I’m curious if they’re both girls! It feels like it’s sinking in getting to see them move around and stuff. I’m hoping to feel more connection with them soon!

Less than 3 weeks left of the first tri. Hoping sickness goes away soon! My menu is like a 5 year old’s, just trying to snack and keep something in my tum at all times.

On another note, has anyone seen my sex drive? -_-

Last day of week 8! Hoping the next 3 weeks of 1st trimester go okay. Didn’t throw up today for once!

8+3. Sooo ready for the first trimester to be over.

7+4. Only 30ish weeks to go. I’ve noticed my feeling sick has kind of depressed me. I sleep and work and eat and that’s it. I just want to start feeling better so I can be excited.

7 weeks! All new territory for me. I love reading about the changes that are happening for them every week!

6+5. Morning sickness with twins is seriously no joke. 3 more shifts after tonight and then it’s my birthday week! I got to see them yesterday, both had strong little heartbeats! Hoping to make it to 38 weeks. They’re DI/DI so that’s good news ❤️

Threw up at work less than 5 minutes after walking in the door. How awkward and embarrassing.

Also I don’t think I get to deliver at my closest hospital..they don’t care for babies that come earlier than 35 weeks and their NICU isn’t for high risk patients. I’ll make sure to ask about that at my next appointment.

Soooo there were 2 babies in there and they both had heartbeats! Glad they’re so far so good but I was not expecting twins!! New due date April 30th. I’m earlier still than thought due to having high hormones with the twins. It’s still sinking in!

I have a UTI. This is fun.
