           She's gone back to not blinking. It's almost as if she's worried that he'll notice her and sneak up on her. "... He wasn't... very good to me." All she can see when she looks at him is d a r k n e  s s.

                Again, it takes her a moment to respond, and when she does, her voice is almost too low to hear. "--My... father is there." It's not as if she thinks Daniel knows about her past-- about why this is tormenting her-- but she offers up the only explanation she can.

                ❝——…You haven’t… um, blinked. In, uh— two minutes, Amanda.❞

            It took her a moment to answer, and when she did, she blinked, but she didn't avert her gaze. "--I'm sorry."

Alright, so now seems like a good time to make this announcement (and I will reblog it tomorrow, as well). I will be out of town this weekend from Thursday through Sunday for a convention, and I am not taking my laptop with me. I will do my best to have all of my replies finished and queued before it is time to leave, so there will be something posting during my absence. I will have my phone with me, so I will likely check in every now and then, but I will not be doing any proper roleplaying. I don’t know exactly what time I’ll be returning Sunday, and I work Monday morning so if it’s too late, I will not be on Sunday night, either. I will miss you all dearly!!

Our roommate is moving out today, and I might start moving my things into her old room, since it’s bigger. I have a paper to write this week, and on the day that paper is due, I have a test. The day of that test, I’m leaving town for four days (the 10th-13th) during which I will not be online except for checking my accounts on mobile. When I return, I have a speech to prepare, and I have finals to prepare for, since April is my last month of school. My finals are the week of the 21st-25th, I believe, and after that I ought to be completely free aside from work. I do apologize for any replies that might be drafted for quite a while, but I promise to do my best to keep up whenever I can. Now, one may reach conclusions that I am biased but I initially had found disinterest in Amanda’s character due to the more cliche mad with power scenario in characterization and while that may have been true- it cut short as I observed how you portrayed her. You’ve given that depth and elegantly described such pain and torment one endured when faced with the darker of decision making. I admire the character in every way due to the barest of interaction and such a perfect ability to design such captivating responses. I’m constantly left speechless and feel terrible for leaving you to wait for any response that I do owe. I am interested in seeing where our literature will take the muses and I never would have expected that. You’re amazing so- I feel this must be said, writer. -firm nod-
