Angelique considers herself lucky for only losing one arm to the island. Most of her coworkers lost their lives. She works hard to make sure her new lab is safe for all of her employees. All of them are taught what to do in an emergency the first thing after they get hired. It’s standard laboratory procedure after all. She double and triple checks that everyone’s left for the day before she locks up the lab. It would set a bad example for everyone if their boss went home first. Every so often she tests the crash bars on the door, just to make sure they’re still working. A good lab stays up to code to ensure safety and an inspector might drop by at any moment. At least, that’s what she tells herself.
