Blog coming later today on this 4 ingredient ALL PURPOSE SPRAY! What I LOVE most about this natural lifestyle is how AHhhhmazing everything smells.... Free aroma therapy while cleaning doing laundry and washing dishes. Duh right! Of course we want that. Sorry pricey store cleaners but you can't make me a lemon, wild orange, onGuard scented spray for the price I just did. Side note: it kills bacteria, fungus and the flu virus. We went #foraging in our neighborhood for sage and oranges. Now Chris is preparing #organic beets with a sage and orange glaze. I'm pretty sure he's a better cook than me, at least more daring. We have a potluck later with friends from our #community, feeling very close to our #urban roots today. Make it #happymonday

Lonely piece of oven bacon from breakfast. #susiesfarm & #closingtheloop duo here! It's very calming to see the food my family will eat go into a compost pile. Small bowl top right is my little scrap food bowl I use to hold all the trimmings during dinner prep. Then I have my compost bin under the cutting board that holds 5 gallons of beautiful green waste! Long out of the way walks are my favorite. Paired with sloughs that flood the crevasses between San Diego freeways and I'm in urban paradise. These streets once ran loud with flowing water and the breathe of gills. Bittersweet existence makes what we do so worth it.
