Today, today I was diagnosed with cancer. My mom was diagnosed with cancer in December and had a mastectomy two weeks ago. I wonder about the timing. I wonder why the healthcare system failed me. I have a lot to process and a lot of plans having to go into affect.

And How does God save us: For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.” Grace is an outpouring of good when only wrath is deserved. Grace is Jesus saving the undeserving.

God saves us by grace through faith. It’s a gift. All you must do is receive it. Have you put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ?

You know what no one ever talks about? Loosing yourself in motherhood. I became a mother at such a young age. 25 years old. I didn’t even know who I was when I got pregnant because I was still trying to figure that out.

It’s like you have to completely redefine yourself or maybe you just will never be the same and you just have to evolve into a whole new person.

What’s difficult is when do you have time to figure that out when you’re caring for three people? Any spare time I have I’m numb to the brain because I am my village. I don’t have the extra support, I don’t get the breaks. I don’t have friends, any friends I had were fake because the second my kids came they disappeared. I don’t have extended family and let’s be honest… my married family sucks. Never have a single one of them actually taken the time to really get to know me or my kids.

I love my kids more than anything in this world and wouldn’t trade them, but sometimes I wish I could rewind and find myself a little better so they could have a little better of a mom. I feel like I daily every single day and they deserve the world.
