Feels like forever since I've been here.

There's so much to speak and think about.

I live in a little town that seems to be from another time.

There was a flag day parade today, that I happened upon. I felt like an extra in a Hollywood film about the 1950s.

A pair of ducks waddle from the pond in the park to walk along main street drinking water from the dog bowls that each shop places outside.

Rosa rugosa bloom fragrantly.

People stop to talk with you.

And the outside world with its serious problems is held at bay, in some idyllic innocent way.

I don't know exactly where our world skewed sideways and inside out during this century.

The Jimi Hendrix comment from the 1960's is completely relevant.

I find it unreal how people view power today.

Is it being in the 1%?

Flaunting an it bag or shopping haul on Tiktok or Insta?

The utter misrepresentation of power is a dangerous place to be, and it's exactly where our world finds itself.

The only power that I believe in, is Love.

I was watching a program about last century. Specifically about the late 1970's. There was an interesting commentary about discotheques. They were the place where all united in acceptance for the love of music.

Perhaps that is what this century needs an extra dose of. Acceptance. Unity. Music. LOVE.

And those small moments when we can

This song captures the moment that you break your rules to let another person into your life.

This "conversation" in 3 minutes speaks about the beginning of a relationship and falling in love when you both are in long term with others respectively. A complex relationship song.

It's the time in a beginning relationship where you discover that you are both perfectly aligned.

You begin to fall deeply in love. It's only the two of you, as the rest of the world need not be included.

Affairs are bittersweet delicious minefields. The navigation of - made even more complex once love enters.

I personally subscribe to the notion that a relationship should not be discussed with anyone but one another, and always saw any conversation about - as eroding that beautiful purity between two. ('instagram official' is dangerously stupid and unreal.)

But there's that one moment in a relationship where it heightens to love. You both without even a discussion, simply can't get enough of one another.

That exact moment, I call saturation.

I had written about this once where I likened it to throwing every paint color onto each other's bare walls.

These relationships can take two divergent paths.

The most exquisite path is one of longevity and love.

The other is love which sparkles at a time in your life when you have most need for love with a bit of naughty sparkle.

Whichever path - please know this.

Love is never wasted. Neither is passion.

Music for me holds some of the most amazing conversations.

How a composer can capture the essence of bits of your life and create something that touches every emotion.

I will simply say that music lights up sectors of my heart and soul.

I've always believed that my brain is doubled in size on my right side. Because I can hear a steel door slam shut from my left side at the thought of anything mathematical or numerical.

Yes, exactly as this image above.

I love any of the creatives, expressing their art in a myriad of forms.

But musicians and composers are held in the highest regard.

Snippets of life tasted, explored and held in a conversation of 'notes.'

Of that creative gift, I remain in awe.

So a bit of a different post today.

A conversation from a musical composer.

I view this song as the melancholy found in some relationships. You both are aware that the waves will overcome you. Knowing full well that it will be utter destruction eventually. But unable to resist that temptation of one another as you venture in , deeply lost in passion.

As difficult a concept for humans to grasp, all relationships will end on some level. The concept of eternity are our memories of.

Which is why humans need to understand that we are meant to simply enjoy the importance of the incredible gift of one another.

I was reading an article about the comparison between last century and this one. Specifically things and items no longer in our day to day.

How drastic these changes have been. Enough to cause whiplash, seriously.

History on other levels repeats itself.

If we desire anything in our world, it's the continuation of human kind and nature.

Globally minded enough to come together to strive for exactly that.

There will be no winners - only the utter destruction and devastation in escalation.

Suddenly everything else seems so superficial.

And during those singular times, the love we experienced helps to sustain us.
