Create beautiful memories with yourself or your child/ren.

Invest in your healing.

Deepen your relationship with God.

Become the woman you've always admired.

The more I heal...

The less I'm impressed by potential.

The more I heal...

The easier it becomes to recognize emotional maturity.

The more I heal...

The less I confuse attention with intention.

The more I heal...

The more I trust God's timing over my emotions.

I don't need to search frantically.

I need to continue becoming.

I started healing. I started growing. I started laughing more. I started taking myself on dates. I started creating the life I prayed for, and somewhere along the way…I discovered that I genuinely enjoy my own company. The more time I spent in God's presence, the more He became my peace. My security. My confidence. My covering.

These days, my joy is found in the little things. Watching my daughters grow into beautiful young girls. Laughing until our stomachs hurt. Praying together. Building businesses with purpose. Creating content that inspires women. Learning new skills. Taking care of my health. Exploring new places. Growing into the woman I prayed to become. My life is in progress, and I'm grateful for every chapter.

I've never closed my heart to love. However, I have closed the door to settling. There's a difference. I still believe in partnership. I still believe in marriage. I still believe God writes beautiful love stories. I still smile when I imagine building a peaceful home with my husband one day. I still look forward to praying together, laughing together, serving together, and growing old together. Yes, I want love. The kind that honors God. The kind that makes two whole people even stronger together.

Before I become exclusive with a man...I've become exclusive with God's voice. The man God has for me won't be intimidated because I value myself. He'll appreciate that I've done the work to become emotionally healthy. Because emotionally healthy people don't fear healthy boundaries. They respect them.

Let's clear something up. Being exclusive is about recognizing that your time, your energy, your peace, and your heart are valuable.

As Black women, we often carry so much. We nurture families. Build careers. Support friends. Serve our communities. Pray for everyone else. Sometimes we give so much that we forget to protect ourselves.

Sis...

You are not too much because you desire consistency.

You are not asking for too much because you want honesty.

You are not difficult because you value communication.

You are not intimidating because you know your worth.

The right man won't be threatened by the woman God is shaping you to become.

He'll thank God for her.

He won't ask you to become less so he can feel like more.

As Christian women, our confidence begins with Christ. Jesus didn't die because we were perfect. He died because we were priceless to Him.

If the King of Kings considered you worth dying for, why would you spend your life begging someone to see your value?

That realization will change how you date.

How you set boundaries.

How you walk away.

How you wait.

When you know your worth, you stop negotiating your value.

Let's clear something up. Being "the prize" doesn't mean believing you're better than anyone else. Being the prize means understanding that you bring something valuable to a relationship—and so should the person you're building with.

God never asked us to lower our standards to keep someone interested. He asked us to guard our hearts. So, let a man pursue you if he chooses. But don't be impressed by pursuit alone.

Be moved by purpose.

Be attracted to consistency.

Be drawn to integrity.

And be willing to wait for someone whose intentions are as clear as his interest. Because the right man

He'll pursue your trust, honor your heart, respect your boundaries, and intentionally build something that reflects God's design for love.

If a man is pursuing you, don't be afraid to ask yourself:

Does his consistency match his words?

Does he make me feel secure or uncertain?

Does he communicate with honesty?

Is he building trust over time?

Does he have a clear vision for the kind of relationship he wants?

Am I learning more about his character than I am about his charm?

Now I pray,

"God, increase my discernment so I recognize the right one and have the wisdom to walk away from the wrong one."

Because timing matters.

Character matters.

Purpose matters.

And peace matters.

Pursuit without intention is just temporary attention & attention without direction eventually becomes confusion.

Let's be honest. Some men genuinely enjoy pursuing women because they enjoy being wanted. They enjoy the excitement of getting your attention. The conversations. The flirting. The emotional connection. The access. The validation, but when it's time to define the relationship, make consistent effort, or build something lasting... They're "figuring things out." They're "not ready." Or they disappear until it's convenient to return. That's not pursuit. That's entertainment.

As a woman growing in Christ, I've had to redefine what I find attractive. A God-fearing man doesn't pursue a woman simply because she's beautiful. He pursues because he recognizes her value. He understands that pursuing someone's heart is a responsibility, not a game. He doesn't intentionally create emotional confusion. He seeks clarity because confusion doesn't reflect the love God calls us to show.

If you're reading this while God is removing people, changing your direction, stretching your faith, or asking you to let go of what once felt comfortable, don't mistake pruning for punishment. Sometimes God empties your hands because He's preparing them to receive something better. Sometimes He quiets your life so you can finally hear His voice. Sometimes He removes the wrong people so you won't miss the right ones. Don't fear the shedding season. Honor it. Because the woman God is creating through it will be stronger than the one who entered it. And when you look back, you'll realize that every goodbye, every delay, every unanswered prayer, and every difficult season wasn't meant to break you. It was preparing you to become exactly who God always intended you to be.

There comes a point in every woman's life when God begins asking for things she never thought she'd have to release because they no longer fit where He's taking her.

Lately, I've realized that I'm shedding old versions of myself, shedding unhealthy habits. Shedding fear, Shedding the need to be chosen by people who were never assigned to me. Shedding relationships that required me to shrink instead of grow. If someone can't see my heart, honor my character, appreciate my peace, or value the woman You are shaping me into, let them keep walking. One of the greatest gifts I've started praying for is an increase in discernment. Discernment is one of the greatest forms of self-love because it protects what God is building.

I truly believe it marks the beginning of new things both naturally, and spiritually for me, my household, and the body of Christ as a whole. God Most High has been so faithful in providing confirmation of the times we are living in and the urgency of this hour. I’ve become more aware that our lives must truly reflect our hearts, and that our walk with God must be intentional. This season has led me to rededicate my life fully to the Lord Jesus Christ. I give all glory to God for what He is doing now and for what He is preparing us for. I am incredibly grateful for the foundation from which I came and for my 2819 church family for exposing me to the gospel and for being a living example of faith, love, and consistency. Through my home church God Most High has brought about discipleship in this season. Thank you God for restoring our intimate and personal relationship with Jesus Christ that transforms my heart, my home, and my daily walk.

This is truly a season of alignment, obedience, and renewal.
