About Azra: I’ve gotten a title from everybody over the years, the title is “Starry-Eyed Wanderer '' probably since I have a tendency to explore and look at things with wonder, like I’m experiencing them for the first time.

About us - History: To look through the eyes of those from the past, understand their experiences, and learn about events from the past, that’s what history is to me! Reading history books from the library helps to pique my interests about certain events. Even when I explore different areas and find ruins or old structures, I also have these lingering questions in the back of my head asking “what happened here?”, “what were these used for previously?” or “what did these look like before time changed them?”

About us - Memories: Memories are something that I learned to treasure very dearly, especially since I don’t really remember much about my life before waking up. There’s this new device going around Teyvat called a Kamera, it captures moments in time and turns them into images. Marjorie gave me one and I haven’t really put it down. I’ve taken tons of photos and put them into my “Memory Book”. That way I can keep the memories alive and never forget them!

About the Vision: Huh? My Vision? It appeared to me one night, when I was reflecting on my time in Mondstadt. I’m still confused about how I managed to get one though. I feel like I haven’t really done much to earn one. But now that I have one, I’m going to use it and make myself worthy of it. Plus I think it’ll be fun, hehe~!

Something to share: Did you know that I have a sister? Hehe~ I can see that you’re surprised! Her name is Thema. If you see someone who’s tall, wearing black, green, and silver clothing, and always taking bounty hunting commissions, that's her!

Interesting things: Hmm…I can’t think of anything at the moment, sorry. Huh? Why does my Anemo glow brighter with a slight golden hue mixed in when I use it? Oh..uh… no reason! Don’t worry about it, okay?

About Venti: V-V-Venti?!? W-well, I first saw him in the plaza performing when Amber was giving me a tour of Mondstadt. I luckily had the chance to officially meet him when I went to Windrise for the first time and we really hit it off! He's someone who I really care for and he really cares about me too! He also cares so much about everyone and makes them smile with his songs and antics! He’s such a great person to everyone he meets, *whispers* and I love him very much! H-Hey! D-Don’t look at me like that!

About Venti: Familiarity: Hanging around Venti is so comforting, like no matter what’s happening there’s peace in that moment that can’t be disrupted. This feeling is so familiar, it calms me whenever it comes to me. Then there’s Venti, himself. It feels like I’ve known him for a long time whenever I talk to him, not to mention that he also looks familiar and he has this air around him that’s also really familiar.

About Jean: Master Jean is a really hard worker, she puts everything she has into protecting Mondstadt and ensuring that everything doesn’t fall apart. Although seeing some of the things she has to deal with on a basis, I wish the townspeople would cut her a break, especially since some of the things they ask her to do they could easily do themselves.

About Barbara: Mondstadt’s darlin’ deaconess, idol, friend, and, at times, healer! Conversations with her are always a delight and hearing her sing is rejuvenating. Though I always feel bad when I get really hurt and have to come see her, she always expresses a great amount of worry and concern. So, to lessen her worries I try to be more careful, and when that doesn’t work I try to visit a statue of the seven before going to see her.

About Diluc: Master Diluc is a very reserved man. He comes off as sorta standoffish towards others, especially toward those from the Knight of Favonius, but he’s a really kind man when you get to know him. Whenever I’m at Angel’s Share, I try to get him to loosen up and crack a smile! It’s rare but when it happens I’m quick to catch it and if I point out that he smiled, he threatens to kick me out but he never actually does.

About Kaeya: He’s…a lot of things. He’s cunning, a sweet talker, and a few other things that can lure people in only to trap them, especially if you are a person of interest to him. Or in my case, a target for his relentless teasing, where he’s often poking fun at me to get a reaction. He has his moments where he’s really kind, but he can be so smug and annoying!

About Amber: Amber found me in the whispering woods after I woke up. When I first saw her, I wasn’t entirely sure if I could trust her, but I was too weak to move so I couldn’t really do much. She took me to the knights and helped me get settled into Mondstadt and introduced me to everybody in town. And although it was scary she taught me the basics of gliding. She’s been with me every step of the way and helped me feel at home in Mondstadt! She’s become like a sister to me!

About Eula: At first I thought she was a very cold person (No pun intended). All her talk about vengeance probably had something to do with the unease I felt.  But when I got to know her more, with Amber’s help, She was actually a pretty nice person. It’s a shame that everyone in town seems to resent her though…

About Noelle:  Nice, determined, and hard working, that’s Noelle! She’s always working so hard with both her duties as a maid and training to become a knight. It's inspiring! But I can’t help but feel like some might be taking advantage of her helpful nature…

About Klee: Klee is very sweet, but she can be quite a handful. I sometimes look after her and it’s both a fun and terrifying time. Fun in the sense that I take her fish blasting and we have fun around the city or go sightseeing around the area. Terrifying that she sometimes manages to evade me and then a second later, I hear explosions and my blood runs cold. This usually ends with her ending up in solitary and me having a talk with Jean, or I’m also put into solitary because Jean finds out about the fish blasting.

About Mona: Stars: When I mentioned my fascination with stars, she immediately took me under her wing, so to speak, and she taught me about the stars as well as constellations and their meanings. It’s a lot to take in, but it’s still interesting to learn about. Sometimes she even goes stargazing with me to show me some of the stars and constellations she taught me about!

About Mona: Divinations: Mona sometimes does divinations on me, though whenever she looks into mine specifically she says that there are some interesting things. She always mentions how it’s like staring into the past, then she also says that sometimes it’s like she’s looking through the eyes of someone else. Afterwards she sometimes feels overwhelmed, but it doesn’t deter her, instead she becomes more interested to decipher what she saw.

About Lisa: Lisa can be very…scary, when it comes to the books in the library. She tells everyone to be very careful as to not damage or lose the books, and to try their best to return them on time. She’s pretty lenient when it comes to late returns, and usually reminds people to return them. Though if something happens to the books, get ready for a really nasty shock to come your way.

About Albedo: Albedo is really hard to read. I can’t really tell what he's thinking, or how he’s even feeling. He just seems indifferent most of the time, but from what I’ve seen he’s really interested in alchemy and finding out the answers of the world. I wonder if I could help him with his experiments or something, maybe it could help me to get to know him more.

About Sucrose: Sucrose is nice, though she’s really timid. I remember when I was first introduced to her, she ran away after saying hi, Albedo told me to not take it to heart since she’s apparently like this when she meets new people. Eventually, we were able to have an interesting conversation about alchemy, and she warmed up to me overtime.

About Rosaria: When I first met Rosaria, she was very cold to me. She always looked at me suspiciously and skeptically. I think she may have assumed that I was a spy or something when I first came to Mondstadt, though overtime I think she warmed up to me. She’s at least not giving me death glares and menacing glances anymore…

About Bennett: Bennett is really sweet! Despite his “bad luck”, he is always so positive and plucky. I remember I saw him at the Adventurer's Guild mumbling about getting some really hard commissions to complete and I came up to him asking if he wanted help to complete them. He tried to dissuade me from doing so because of his bad luck, but I insisted on going with him. So many weird things happened that made the trip all the more interesting and fun. Afterwards he apologized for everything going wrong, and he seemed really surprised when I told him that this trip was great and that I hope we could go on many more.

About Razor: Soooo… funny story about how I met Razor, actually. I was wandering around Wolvendom and got lost. While I was there, I ran into a pack of wolves that looked ready to attack me until Razor suddenly jumped in front of them and saved me from potentially being eaten! It was so scary, but it quickly turned into a very wholesome experience. All the wolves acted like big fluffy dogs, after Razor explained that I wasn’t a threat to them. From then, I occasionally visit to give him food for himself and the wolves and just spend time there sometimes.

About Fischl: The Prinzessin der Verurteilung? Oh, Fischl? Yeah, I know her! She's really nice, although she talks funny, and it’s hard to understand what she’s trying to say sometimes. Luckily, Oz is always with her, which in turn makes it easier to understand her since he always translates what she's trying to say. They make a great duo and everything they do seems like something from a play or a book.

About Diona: Diona’s a nice kid, but she can be very feisty. She’s one of the greatest bartenders in town, but hates alcohol, she’s kinda like Master Diluc in that regard. Sometimes I hear her muttering things about destroying Mondstadt’s wine industry while having a mischievous look on her face, it’s kinda scary.

About Xiangling: Oh LingLing! I met her in the woods near Springvale, she was hunting and exploring around the area for ingredients for new dishes that she wanted to make. While the ingredients are…questionable, the final product always turns out perfect…and sometimes a tad bit spicy.

About Thema (OC): Thema’s my cool and awesome older sister! She's known as a “renowned bounty hunter” by many in other nations. She tends to travel a lot because of her job, so it’s kinda rare to find her in Mondstadt sometimes. I know she might come off as standoffish and cold, but she can be really nice when you get to know her.

Hello: Hey There! My name’s Azra! Here’s to great friendships and amazing adventures!

Chat: Puns: Hehehe~, puns are amazing! You can make them out of anything, and the reactions I get from telling them are priceless! I guess you could say that there are a lot of great PUNchlines to these jokes, hahahaha! Wait, where are you going?

Chat: Books: Reading books can be fun and relaxing. I tend to visit the library in the Knights of Favonius headquarters often to find something interesting to read! Though I keep hearing so many rumors about the restricted area of the library, that I get so curious and excited about what could be in there! But…getting past Lisa is certainly going to be tricky…

Chat: Stars: I love when the skies are clear at night, those are the perfect times to go stargazing. Looking up and seeing a sea of stars, so vast and expansive, it’s truly a sight to behold! When I look at them it’s calming and makes me feel so happy, I can’t explain it!

When It Rains: I like to stay inside and drink something warm while I listen to the rain, but a certain someone sometimes convinces me to join them in jumping in puddles.

After It Rains: Whenever the rain stops, the smell of nature accentuates through the air. It's so refreshing.

When Thunder Strikes: WOAH! That was really close!

A girl who loves adventure and has a smile that burns as bright as her spirit. 

Character Details: A Mysterious Girl who appeared in Mondstadt, with little to no memory of her life before coming to the City of Freedom. She now lives there wanting to reclaim her missing memories, and also wants to go on adventures and see different sights and nations. Whenever she goes on an adventure and explores her surroundings, she looks at everything with a starry-eyed look of wonder, like she’s never seen certain things before. Her love for sweets is something unmatched by anyone in the whole of Teyvat, along with her love for meat, fruits, and shellfish. When using Anemo, she molds the wind into the shape of stars that she can throw, use as a shield, or sit upon to float or ride. Though within her wind and windstars there seems to be something shining mixed in…

Character Story 1: Inside the raging wind barrier of Old Mondstadt lived a simple girl going about her simple life. That girl’s name was Azra. Azra mostly kept her head down and kept to herself, only every breaking out of her shell with her family. She didn’t really have any friends, due to fearing that people won’t accept her for who she is, thus she made herself an outcast within her own home.

While walking around the streets of Old Mondstadt, Azra bumped into someone and tumbled to the ground. When she looked up she started apologizing profusely to the person for the inconvenience she might have caused them and noticed almost immediately who they were. They were…well she didn’t actually know his name, she only knew him as “The Nameless Bard”. She had seen him performing songs about freedom and what lies beyond the barrier, some people liked his songs and some people didn’t like them, Azra liked his songs too though she wasn’t about to tell him that now given their current situation.

The bard offered his hand to Azra and pulled her up. Azra thanks him for his kindness, brushes herself clean, and starts to walk away when suddenly she’s stopped again by the very same bard. He tells her he remembers her from his performances, seeing her usually away from the crowd but still listening attentively. Azra blushes from embarrassment from being noticed and says that she really enjoys his stories and music, to which he smiled and thanked her for the compliment.

Azra then gives her name to the bard and in return he gives her his “My name is Himmel.” He mentions that he doesn’t give out his name to many people saying that he reserves it for new friends. It took Azra a moment to process what he meant by this, Only for him to clarify “I would like to become friends with you, If you have me?”

A new friendship was formed that day.

Character Story 2: After hanging out with Himmel for a while, he proposes an idea to Azra to meet a friend of his. Azra was nervous about this, meeting new people meant finding ways to not drive people away or misunderstand her or her intentions. Nevertheless, She agreed and an excited Himmel took her to meet his friend.

What Azra didn’t expect was to come face to face with a…ghost? Azra and the, supposed, ghost were sizing each other up, trying to figure out what to make of each other and even mimicking each other in the form head tilts. Himmel breaks up the “tense” situation and takes the “ghost'' into his hands and introduces him as Venti. He tells Azra that Venti is a Wind Spirit that he had found and that he was the friend that he was talking about. He also introduces Azra to Venti mentioning that she was the girl who he saw at his performances and who also bumped into him. Azra blushed in embarrassment when he mentioned both events.

Venti slowly flies toward Azra, and seeing this she opens her hands for him to land on. When Venti lands on her hands he proceeds to look at her, Azra does the same. As time progresses, Azra gets used to Venti’s presence and relaxes; she then proceeds to giggle and rub the side of Venti’s face with her thumb. Venti starts to blush when she starts giggling and petting and shows his happiness by zipping around her and blowing small breezes in her direction. Himmel watches at a distance, happy that two of his good friends are getting along and having fun together. He then approaches them and brings them together for a group hug. He then proclaims “Here’s to the start of a new friendship…may we always be together!”

Character Story 3: The Rebellion was over, Decarabian was dead, and the wind barrier around old Mondstadt dissipated, further establishing the fact; everyone was free. Everyone felt a whirlwind of emotions, from shock to happiness, especially when looking up and seeing the big blue sky.

Azra was just as overwhelmed as everyone, when looking at the sky. It looked exactly how it was pictured in the books that her, Himmel, and Venti looked at. She was taken aback by how beautiful it was, but just as quickly she felt anxiousness and dread take over her. “If the war is really over, then what happened to Himmel, Venti and the others?” Azra’s thoughts went into overdrive thinking of all the possible outcomes, some happy others grim. Her body acted before her mind, and ignoring the cries of her family and other civilians to stay put, she ran to where she thought they would be, praying to any Archon or Divine Power that they would be safe.

As Azra ran through the town she saw the horrors of war, from the ruined city buildings to the people who have lost their lives in the fight, she looked away from the horrific sights and ran faster, even more determined to find her friends and ensure their safety. In the distance, she saw a cliff overlooking Decarabian’s, now destroyed, tower, and on that cliff she saw the rebellion’s leaders. She quickly proceeded to run up the slope, with her heart full of hope and relief that her grim thoughts were wrong, But when she reached the top, her heart shattered and grief overtook her feelings of hope, relief and happiness.

She saw Himmel laying on the ground, being supported by Master Ragnvindr with Venti floating next to him, with two arrows protruding from his chest. Her legs slowly trudged toward him, with tears cascading down her face, when she finally reached him, her legs gave out and she began to shake him. “Wake up, Wake up,” Azra kept repeating as she continued to shake him. Himmel’s eyes slowly flutter open slowly and turns his head and smiles at her softly. Azra consuls him telling him that they can get him to safety and get him patched up. Himmel softly chuckles and tells her that it’s too late, Azra gets defensive and says that he can still be saved. He takes her hand and says “It’s okay, everyone is free that’s what matters,” His breath hicks and he coughs before continuing. “I entrust you and Venti to lead everyone and find a new home, and to see the world for me, okay?” Azra sniffles and nods slowly, then Himmel starts to sing “Fly, fly away. Like a bird in the sky…See the world on my behalf…” “To the heavens may you fly…” Azra finished. Then Himmel passed away with a smile on his face, leaving Azra to sob softly with Venti nudging against her as an act of comfort. 

Unfortunately for them, fate is a cruel mistress.

Venti slowly floated in front of Azra, giving her a knowing and saddened look. Azra held out her hands under Venti and looked at him with a solemn look. “Well it looks like it’s just the two of us now, Ven,” a shallow breath is taken, and Azra tries her best to smile as she continues. “But don’t worry Venti, we can heal together and help everyone to find a new ho-,” Azra suddenly stops, her breath hicks as she suddenly starts to feel a searing pain. When she looks down she sees the head of an arrow sticking out of the left side of her chest, she starts to cough up blood and falls on her side. In the distance she briefly hears someone say “Long live Decarabian!”, but the pain was too much for her to care about anything around her. Venti flew down in front of Azra’s face, frantically zipping around in front of eyes and started to cry helplessly. Azra’s consciousness starts to slip, but she reaches out to Venti and gently pats his head. “I’m so sorry Venti,” she starts to tear up. “I wanted to see the world, it sights…the stars at night, but I won’t get to see it now and I’m also leaving you and my family behind.” she starts to sob softly to herself “I’m so sorry!” In that moment, everything was becoming darker, her hand slipped off of Venti’s head, that’s when the realization set in for her…She was dying. Everything was getting darker and darker, and the numbness was setting in. The last thing she could remember, before passing, was a sudden blast of wind and someone tenderly holding her hand.

Character Story 4: “Wake up and enjoy your new life…Azra,” A distant calming voice called out in a whisper, causing Azra to stir from her slumber. She’s shocked awake and slowly takes in everything around her. From what she sees, she realizes that she’s in a sort of forest clearing where exactly is it she doesn’t know. She looks up at the blue sky, feeling a familiar calmness that slowly overcomes her with grief. She suddenly snaps out of it, when hears footsteps approaching her, she tries to get up and run but her legs feel a bit wobbly and weak. When the footsteps reach her area she comes face to face with a girl with gold eyes, long brown hair, who wears a lot of red, and has bunny ears? 

To say Arza was confused would be an understatement. 

The red bunny girl greets her and asks her if she was okay, Azra being weary shakes her head “no” to the question. The girl then asks if she has a family, to which Azra just shrugs her shoulders. She then proceeds to gently ask if she remembers anything at all, and Azra responds quietly “No I don’t remember anything.” The girl appears shocked because not only did the person she was talking to finally respond to her, but also they seemed to be abandoned in the middle of the woods with no memory of anything.

The girl then suggests taking Azra with her back to Mondstadt: The City of Freedom. Azra was even more confused “Mondstadt?”, “Freedom?”, why do these words give her a familiar feeling? She snaps out of it when the girl continues on and goes on a tangent about bringing her back with her to the city to get her situated and to help her with her situation. Azra shows hesitation to this idea, but she didn’t have many options so she reluctantly accepted the bunny girl’s offer. Excited about this, the girl tells her that they should leave now to get back to town, but Azra told her that her legs were weak and that she couldn’t walk well. The girl, understanding her plight offers her a piggyback ride, Which Azra eagerly accepts. On the way to the city, Azra dozes off but not before hearing “Don’t worry we’ll get you situated and help you reclaim your lost memories.

Character Story 5: “A city tour to get acquainted and explore,” That’s the idea the red bunny girl, now introduced as Amber, pitched to a very hesitant Azra. While she was very curious and eager to explore, she was worried about meeting the people of the city fearing that they would consider her an outsider. Though it seems like her fears were unfounded, she had already met the Knights of Favonius the day before, and they seemed warm and understanding to her situation and, surprisingly, welcomed her to the city with open-arms.

The people in town seemed no different either, Amber had taken her to the marketplace, some of the known bars and the town square, and most of the people were just as warm and welcoming as the knights. It eased her mind and body, that everyone was so accepting of her even though she just showed up suddenly. The last locations Amber wanted to take Azra to were the Plaza and the Favonius Cathedral. When they arrived at the Plaza, Azra looked up at the statue of the Anemo Archon and felt an air of familiarity as she stared at it, she then heard a calming melody coming from near the statue. As she approached the source of the melody and saw a bard clothed in green with his eyes closed playing a lyre for a crowd, he seemed familiar in a more personal sense but she couldn’t put her finger on it. When the melody finished and the bard opened his eyes he scanned the crowd, his eyes finally landed on Azra and when he saw her he wore a shocked expression.

Azra’s eye met his too, and aside from the familiar feeling, she felt her face heating up and her heart beating rapidly. Confused, she tries to calm herself and thinks to herself why she could possibly be acting like this, but Amber suddenly snaps her out of it telling her that they should head to the Cathedral and then call it a day. Amber suddenly starts dragging her to the Cathedral with Azra trying to tell her to slow down, all the while as this happens, the bard’s eyes never leave the girl’s form until she’s out of his sight.

Time before revival: A Hollow Soulless Husk. Her soul separated from her body, missing a piece of itself after death. Her Body functioned as if she were alive while in her realm. Sometimes she sleeps and murmurs to herself about weird dreams.

“She’s keeping to herself and being weary, though she does seem to be curious and a bit adventurous.” 

“Her Body and Soul I shall fix, to revive her and allow her to live.”

Revival: Lady of The Stars, Amira, (Another Oc), finished reviving Azra. She repaired her body, healing it of any external and internal damages. Her soul returned to her, whole once again thanks to her giving a piece of her own. She also took it upon herself to bless her with immortality as well as making her hard to kill.  Azra looked as if she was sleeping peacefully, dressed in the new clothes she made for her and holding the sword she forged for her. “She’s ready to return,” she thought optimistically. She holds out her hand in front of Azra’s body and envelops her in a ball of light and sends her back down to Teyvat, in a form similar to a shooting star.

 “Your life I have returned to you, My Shining Star! 

My only wish for you is to experience new wonders and live your life. 

So wake up and enjoy your new life…Azra.”

Vision: During a cool peaceful night in Mondstadt, Azra and Venti were sitting atop the Barbatos Statue. Venti was playing a calming melody on his lyre, While Azra was overlooking the view of the city and then looked up at the stars. She began to reminisce about her time in Mondstadt, from all the people she’s met and all the friends she’s made, to the many sights she’s seen inside and outside of the city. She even thought about the wild times she had with Venti that she knows she’ll never forget, which causes her to chuckles softly to herself and blush.

Venti, hearing her, stops playing his lyre and turns to her, smiling softly, asking her what she's chuckling about. Azra turns to him, returning his smile, and says that she’s just remembering everything she’s done and experienced since she’s woken up. She also tells him that she’s happy with the life she’s built here in Mondstadt with everyone, that she’s happy that she met him and became best friends, which caused him to blush.

Slight CW: Brief mentions of panic attack

Sad. You’ve just been feeling really sad. You couldn’t really pinpoint a specific reason for it either, it could’ve been commissions, fulfilling all sorts of requests for people, or just the feeling of stress and being overworked finally catching up with you, but it all just led to the same heavy feeling.

So here you are sitting on the edge on Starsnatch Cliff, overlooking the ocean below and the setting sun above. The wind blows in your direction, cooling you down and making you feel slightly calmer. “Everything just feels so overwhelming and just so…ARGH! It’s all so frustrating! There’s so many things and just one of me, but I don’t want to let anyone down! I just…I…I…” You start to break down, crying loudly, not even bothering to hide your sobs. 

You were tired.

 Tired of being strong.

 Tired of putting on an act that said “Everything’s Okay.”

Just…tired.

So…you were allowed to be selfish just this once, right?

You continued sobbing really hard, letting everything out, finally letting yourself be vulnerable. You didn’t even hear the sound of grass crunching, the feeling of two legs being placed on either side of you, and two arms wrapping around you, bringing you close to their chest, and placing their head on your shoulder.

“Why are you crying, beloved?”

You quickly gasp, suddenly ceasing your sobs and turning your head to see your hugger. A shocked, startled expression overtakes your tear-stricken expression as you come face to face with the last person that you ever wanted to see you like this. “Venti…” you let out softly as you’ve come face to face with your lover. You start shaking slightly and breathing rapidly, of all the times for him to find you why did it have to be now. You never wanted anyone to see you like this, especially him. You start hyperventilating more and nearly have a borderline panic attack, but suddenly you feel Venti’s arms squeeze you reassuringly and his head nuzzling against your shoulder and cheek.

“Don’t hold back, Love. Let it all out.” Venti reassured you softly and continued to whisper encouraging words and sweet nothings. Hearing that, you let yourself cry, releasing your frustrations and letting your emotions run free. Both of you sat there basking in each other's company. You wanted to tell him what was bothering you, but you just couldn’t. There were so many things that were bothering you, so many things that were stressing you out that you wanted to get off your chest, but just thinking about them made your thoughts jumble and trying to talk about them makes you want to cry all over again. 

Venti sensed this and assured you with a loving smile

“Don’t worry Love, you don’t have to say anything. Just stay here with me and enjoy the breeze. And let the wind calm you and let you feel free!”

You look at him with a slightly shocked expression and ask softly “Really?” Venti chuckles softly at this and proceeds to give you a quick kiss on the cheek, which causes you to blush slightly. “Of course, I’ll always be here for you to wipe your tears and make your gray skies clear! I’ll make you feel so loved that you’ll soar high like the stars up above!” He exclaimed proudly. He then looks at you with a soft loving look and says “So please love, don't be afraid to let out your emotions and cry because…”

June 16th, an Important date. It was important because it was Venti’s Birthday. You and Venti have been together for a long time, and are practically attached at the hip. You were even a part of the Stormterror Incident to help Dvalin even though Venti was admittedly against you participating in fear of something happening to you, but you still stayed by him regardless. 

You wanted to make this birthday super special for him, showing him your love and appreciation for everything he’s done for you. You start recalling everything he’s ever done for you, from writing songs for you to taking you on joyrides on Dvalin to just being there for you. You smile fondly remembering these moments, and proceed onwards to make this Venti’s best birthday ever!

For weeks, You, with the help of Lumine, Paimon, and your other friends in Mondstadt, have been planning a big surprise party for Venti. You’ve been constantly running around constantly trying to make sure that everything is in order, in terms of food, drink, decorations and the “Final Surprise.” And now you’re here with Lumine and Paimon, in the late afternoon, making sure everything is set and ready to go.

“Food and Drinks…” you start off listing the materials. “Various alcohol and drink selections for everyone, and Dandelion Wine for Venti…Check.” Lumine responds. “Okay then, next is the cake.” You list off next. “Fresh, Baked, and Ready! Check!” Lumine confirms. “Alrighty so far, so good, next…are the decorations!” You continue. “In Angel’s Share, set up as we speak!” Paimon suddenly exclaims. “Okay and finally, The Big Finale.” You say finishing off the list. “Albedo and Klee have finished working on it, and Albedo has set it to activate at the designated time!” Paimon exclaims proudly.

You put down the list and smile brightly. “Okay! Looks like everything is ready to go! Now all that’s left is to find Venti, and bring him back to the tavern!” Lumine nods, along with Paimon, and says “Alright Paimon and I will go to Angel’s Share and prepare everyone. Try not to take too long~,” Lumine smirks knowingly. You blush and chuckle nervously “Heh heh we won’t.” 

Afterwards, both of you part ways and go to do their assigned tasks. You run in the direction of Windrise having a strong feeling that Venti would be there, sitting at the base of Vanessa’s Tree and playing a tune while enjoying the calming breeze. Luckily, he was there and you ran faster to reach him while calling out loudly “Hey! Venti!” He looks up and sees you and starts smiling as bright as the sun, while shouting back to you “Hey Love!” He holds his arms wide open and you jump into them and hug him tightly, while he simultaneously spins you around. 

When he finishes spinning you, he continues to hold you close in his arms and gives you a kiss on the lips. You pull back with a blush on your cheeks and a smile on your face as you ask “How has your birthday been so far,Ven?” He then smiles and recites everything that has happened to him. “Today has been Amazing! So many Wishes from Mondstadt’s citizens and our friends! And my performances provided me with mora that doesn’t seem to end! But I’ve missed you my Windblume, Where have you been?” You internally panic, but quickly recover and answer him “Oh me? I was just running some last minute errands, but now I'm yours for the rest of the day! So…What do you want to do, Birthday Bard?”

He stands with a look of mock thought and says with a cheeky grin “Well~…I guess we could go to Angel’s Share to enjoy a nice cool glass of dandelion wine together~!” “Heh heh, All according to plan~!” you thought to yourself, but you answered him in a convincing tone “Of course! Dandelion wine sounds great!” In his excitement Venti lets go of you, grabs your hand and pulls you into the direction of Angel’s Share. In no time at all, thanks to fast running and the power of anemo, you two arrive at the tavern in the evening. In his excitement, Venti opens the door and leads you inside, but everything is dark. “Huh? That’s weird, the tavern doesn’t usually close this early. What's going on?” Venti wondered out loud

Then Suddenly…

SURPRISE! 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VENTI!

*POP* *POP* *POP*

The room lit up in a golden hue, confetti fell slowly to the ground, and the sight before him nearly brought him to tears. In front of him were his friends, Lumine, Paimon, Amber, Jean, Lisa, Kaeya, Barbera, Noelle, and Eula were standing there with smiles on their faces and empty poppers in their hands. Diluc was also there, standing behind the counter of the bar, holding an empty popper, and wearing a tiny smile. The room around him was decorated beautifully, streamers of green and gold decorated the ceiling of the tavern along with wreaths of cecilia flowers hanging on the wooden columns. There was a table of various foods, like Apples, Sweet Madames, Barbatos Ratatouille, Mondstadt Grilled Fish, and his Birthday Cake along with a variety of drinks and spirits, topped off with a vase full of cecilias at both ends of the table.

“W-What’s all this?” Venti asked with a shocked, shaky voice while looking around at everyone awaiting an answer. “It's a surprise party for you, Tone-Deaf Bard!” Paimon answers in her loud squeaky voice. Lumine jumps in saying, “Yup! We’ve all pitched in and helped to put together this party for you!” Kaeya then jumps in and adds in a suave, teasing tone, “Yes and none of this wouldn’t have been possible if not for your lover. They went through all the planning and set-up, making sure that everything turns out perfectly just for you.”

 Venti turns to you, processing everything and then finally asking “Windblume, you did this all for me?” You look at him with a shy smile and soft eyes, “Yeah! I wanted to do this for you! Plus I thought it would be fun to have a celebration with all our friends! So…do you like it?” Everyone stood in silence for a few minutes, before Venti answered “Like it? I LOVE IT! This is amazing, no one has ever gone to this extent for me before! This is the best birthday ever, thank you windblume!” He hugs you close and kisses you softly, and everyone watching gives a simultaneous and teasing “Aww~!”. You pull back from the kiss with a blush on your face and then turn to everyone. “Alright, let’s get this party started!” and everyone cheered.

The events that followed were fun and memorable. Everyone sang happy birthday to Venti and enjoyed the delicious cake. Some of the others got up on the stage to sing, Jean and Lisa sang a duet together, same with Lumine and Paimon, and Eula begrudgingly joined Amber to do the same. There was also a drink competition between Lisa, Kayea, and Venti, scarcely enough they all seemed pretty evenly matched and didn’t even seem that drunk after having a multitude of drinks between each other. After the competition all three of them were buzzed and Diluc and Noelle conversed with each other while cleaning up the remnants of their competition. This was definitely a celebration Venti would hold near and dear to his heart.

“Thank you Windblume, this was the best birthday ever! I’ll never forget this” He smiles fondly and you return the gesture tenfold. “I’m glad you liked it, but there is one more thing left.” Venti looks at you confused, “Oh? And what would that be-?” Suddenly, muffled noises start sounding from the outside….

*BOOM* 

*POP*

*BANG*

Venti suddenly pops up after hearing the muffled noises and looks at you, and you respond saying “Ha! Right on cue!” You grab Venti’s hand and lead him outside to the plaza, with the others following you two. When you both arrive you exclaim “Venti look up!” Venti complies and the sight before his eyes, makes his heart warm up. 

Fireworks light up the night sky in various colors of green, yellow, turquoise, and blue. Each one becomes bigger, brighter and more beautiful than the last. Suddenly, Klee runs up to you two with Albedo following her. “Yeah! Operation Big Surprise was a success!” Klee exclaims with excitement and glee. You smile and laugh softly “Heheh, thank you so much for your help, Klee! And thank you too, Albedo! I couldn’t have gotten this ready without you both!” They both smile and nod at you in return. 

Venti then pulls you close into a hug and whispers “Thank you so much, Windblume! I love you!” You nuzzle into him and say “You’re welcome Venti! I love you too!”
