I have a complete obsession with rings and recently purchased this quirky ape ring ! My boyfriend loves it so much he decided to pose with it too.

Well .....  I have some feel good news to share. As you all know, I am completely obsessed with the stationery store Typo, and recently I decided to test my design skills out when I saw they were hosting an Olympic themed competition.

All entrants had to show off their [typo]graphic skills by designing your favourite team motto to help your team win the game. As I submitted my entry, I crossed fingers and toes and two weeks later I was notified as the Gold Pack Winner.

Hooray Hooray !

Don't you just love Louis Vuitton's new spotty theme. Spotted these beauties on the weekend.  What do you guys think?

For those of you who know me, and know me well, know that I love cake. I am an avid baker, and my inner Eric Lanlard pops out every time I start baking. So, naturally I love trying out new patisseries and confection bakeries. My absolute favourite, Myatt in the V&A Waterfront (Cape Town). Not only do they provide the most amazing cakes and pastries, but 100's of Macaroons and a variety of Chocolates. If you don't really fancy something sweet (which I'm sure is an absolute lie), they also have a selection of delicious light meals and breakfast options.

My boyfriend very lovingly took me on a little date on Saturday, and I was in absolute heaven! I indulged in an AMAZING double chocolate cake, with a moist center and decorated with chocolate leaves and fresh strawberry. Mmmmm ! He decided to have a mouth watering red velvet cupcakes, with fresh pink cream cheese icing and candied flower. Absolute heaven!

Not only are the cakes delicious, but the crockery they are served on makes them taste simply divine. I have always been a fan of Villeroy & Boch Fine China, and every time i take a sip out of my vintage inspired tea cup, it just tastes even better (he he he).

For those of you who haven't been to Myatts, try it you wont be dissapointed.

Right now I am totally obsessed with pastel pink lipstick. I think it might because I long for summer days or because pastel colours are the it colour for the season. I recently purchased Mac Saint Germain. The Barbie pink shade is so fun, flirty and fabulous. Why i love pink? It goes with every single skin tone and lip shade, so the next time you feel like spicing up a outfit go for a sultry pink lip.

I must apologise for my silence, I am currently finishing off my thesis so that's why you haven't had any of my post updates. My sincerest apologies - Monday is the hand in and then I will be back.
