Here’s some positivity for traumaendo systems!
Lots of systems may find that their origins don’t fit neatly into “endogenic” or “traumagenic.” For some, traumaendo is a label that can describe their system, or certain members, having a combination of both of these origins! There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a traumaendo system - these plurals are lovely, cherished, and will always belong in our spaces, no ifs ands or buts about it! To every traumaendo system out there, this post is for you!
💟 Shoutout to systems whose origins are equally endogenic and traumagenic!
💠 Shoutout to traumagenic systems with endogenic members, and endogenic systems with traumagenic members!
🕊 Shoutout to traumaendo systems who have been diagnosed, or who believe they have, a complex dissociative disorder!
🏵 Shoutout to traumaendo systems who wish they were accepted and embraced more in traumagenic-specific spaces!
❣️ Shoutout to traumaendo systems who have been fakeclaimed due to their origins and labels!
💟 Shoutout to traumaendo systems whose trauma histories have left them with depression, anxiety, PTSD, CPTSD, and/or other mental illnesses!
💠 Shoutout to traumaendo systems with disordered plurality, or whose system looks very similar to a system with a complex dissociative disorder!
🕊 Shoutout to traumaendo systems whose experiences with multiplicity are complex, unique, rare, or taboo within the plural community!
🏵 Shoutout to systems who identify as both traumaendo and mixed origins, or who use other origin labels to describe their traumagenic and endogenic origins!
❣️ Shoutout to traumaendo systems who have always been plural, but with trauma histories that ended up affecting their system in significant ways!
💟 Shoutout to those who are questioning whether or not they have traumaendo origins!
💠 Shoutout to traumaendo systems who need access to therapy, medications, survivor peer-support, and other resources for traumatized folks!
🕊 Shoutout to traumaendo systems who accept, embrace, and are proud of their system’s origins!
Traumaendo systems have always been and will always be a special, integral, and important part of the plural community. Please know that you are NOT “just endogenic or traumagenic” - your origins are real, and you deserve to be heard and taken seriously as you are! Rest assured that you will always be wanted here, and we will do our best to honor, celebrate, and uplift your unique perspectives! The plural community simply would not be the same without you in it!
We hope you find the time, strength, and resources necessary to process, heal, and recover from your trauma. We hope that this challenging journey is made easier by your headmates, regardless of their personal origins! You belong and should feel completely welcome and at ease in both traumagenic and endogenic spaces, and we are wishing this for your future! Please do your best to treat yourselves with gentleness and compassion today. Know that we care about you, we’re in your corner, and we’re wishing you the very best in all that you do!
