Midnight Memories

Update: I am starting practicum in 3 days. Then, it is four months (approx.) in schools, teaching and being observed. I am so excited. Nervous, but excited. I am in a middle school, teaching grade 8, and I cannot wait. I am so thankful to have this second chance at the program and I am beyond determined to do a good job this time around. Bye bye last weekend of freedom!  

I have been seeing this quote everywhere lately: “Don’t feel bad for making decisions. You’re not responsible for other people’s happiness, you’re responsible for your own.” I honestly hate this quote because while I feel like it’s good to not care what others think and do what is best for you, the people who keep posting this quote are the kind of people who would use it justify making shitty/hurtful decisions, to make themselves not feel guilty.
