An oc of mine, the last time I drew her was in 2019. Still figuring out what to do with her lol. Inktober is getting a bit hard to do since I’m always tired 24/7. Though I’ll keep going even if it’s a bit late.

Oof I used to make super long descriptions but now it’s a sentence or two lol.

During my inktober breaks, I’ll play Three Houses and finish the Blue Lions route…so many people have already completed the game OTL while I’m still on my first route.

Inktober day 5: Kiiro’s Redesign — I changed his hairstyle to be an octoling version of the inkling boy’s “hipster” hairstyle. His top has also changed in order to match the one in-game. His eye color changed from purple to green since it doesn’t match with his color scheme all that well.

Inktober Day 4: Dmitri’s View of the World. Sad feral boar prince. — Blue Lions is my first playthrough, I haven’t had time to finish it yet though I like it so far. I’m at post time skip, but not close to finishing yet. I’m super attached to my students and will find it difficult to just hop to another house. Ashe has won my heart from the beginning, I’ll draw a picture of him later.

— I’m trying out a slightly different shading style for the hair. It’s still similar to what I usually do, but adding extra effects to make it look nicer. This character is my oc, Robin aka the main protagonist of Monster Hero! Club. She’s a bit introverted and prefers the comfort of her dorm to relax and watch anime after a long day of school.

She’s a new character I created for a game concept I thought of. I’m trying to think of a simpler game concept that wouldn’t take too long to make and doesn’t require complex code. So far, this one is the easiest to do...as long as I don’t make it super complex haha.

A super late art trade for ateliersugarkat on instagram, I’m going to include a bonus picture soon since I took so long with it （；へ：） — It’s my first time drawing a splatoon character in my normal art style vs imitating the concept art style. I was trying to think of a background and got inspired to make a traditional Japanese house with the shōji sliding doors.

Drew hrududoo’s (on instagram) monitor head project he completed a while ago. I thought it was pretty cool and felt inspired to draw it out. He’s currently working on another monitor head project that’s strong enough to use in airsoft. I was also using this as an opportunity to test my chibi style a bit more.

I had a friend of mine look at this drawing before I posted it and said that the hand was too big. I was kinda mad at myself because I had to spend time to redraw a bit of the hoodie. It didn’t help that my cintiq decided to lag on me and lag/not draw certain lines. I reinstalled the driver so hopefully everything works out.

A quick chibi version of me eating my favorite snack, Takoyaki. I decided to change my chibi style a bit because I didn’t like how I drew Todomatsu back then. I tend to draw my normal art compared to chibis, but I should draw chibis more often. — It’s hard to keep a queue of art lol. I find it so weird when artists have like a month full of art when I only keep a week in advance. I wish instagram had an automatic posting option since I tend to forget to post lol.

My oc, Kyoko Yoshida from a personal project of mine, Forgotten Dream. I haven’t worked on this in a while, but it’s been on my mind. I redesigned Kyoko and added the “white stripe” or poliosis in her hair so she looks more similar to her father (Hui, in the future of course, since he’s only 19 right now and Kyoko is currently 14). I’m currently working on a speedpaint video for this and will talk more about the design choices from there. I also forgot to post this the other day, to make it up, I’m posting two other pictures.

I drew a picture of hrududoo (on instagram) and his cat Ms Kitty. I haven’t drawn animals before, so it was a bit of a challenge to do. I like how it turned out though. I was trying to figure out a way to interpret his hazel eyes, though it was easier than I thought it would be. The center of his eyes are brown and the rest of it is green.

One tip I heard was to give male characters more “angular” features, though I like more soft cutesy curves. I think if I look at more references of male characters in a “moe” type of style it would help a lot.
