Hello, everyone!! My name is Lux and I’m a mentally-ill nonbinary person who desperately needs some help here…

A quick rundown of things:

A lot has been going on in my life and I’ve finally kind of reached my breaking point today. For starters, I woke up this morning to a flat tire!! Plus my A/C doesn’t work in my car, and I really need to get that fixed since lately the days where I live have been consistently hitting about 100 degrees + humidity which means the inside of my car is consistently 100+ degrees and I really can’t be dealing with that. I’ve been riding with my windows down for a few months, but now that it’s the rainy season, I can’t be doing that as often and because it’s so hot my windows fog up and it’s really just a bad situation all around and very dangerous for me to drive in. 8) Anyway… I work as a dog bather which, despite what you may believe, is a pretty physically demanding job!! So I come home almost every night with back pain and pain in my bad knee. My mental illnesses also honestly prevent me from juggling more than one job! I’ve tried, believe me. I suffer from BPD, depression, and anxiety along with chronic stomach problems and a bad knee that I can only fix with surgery which I also cannot afford, but it’s not entirely debilitating yet. The chronic stomach problems means I sometimes have to call out of work which leads to a shortage of monthly funds… I get a maximum of 25 hours a week and that just isn’t enough to cover my expenses each month, considering two entire weeks paychecks have to go to my car insurance and my phone bill every month!! It leaves me about $250-300 every month and just under half of that goes to gas. So for a month, I have about $150 to play around with for groceries and other misc. expenses and that just… Is Not Enough to try and save ANYTHING. I’m trying to save up enough to move to Orlando to go back to school so I can get a job that ISN’T so physically demanding and I can’t do that while living off of $150 a month.

I prefer visual references over written ones, but if you don’t have a visual reference, written is also fine as long as it’s descriptive enough! :)

In just over 12 hours

Tonight (starting at 10 PM Feb 11 and going through 4 AM Feb 12) is the all-night Yuri!!! on Ice marathon being streamed nationwide in theaters in Japan. Before the marathon starts (presumably; wouldn’t want them having to wait til 3 AM lol), there will be a talk event as well involving Kubo-sensei and the three main seiyuu (Toyonaga, Suwabe, and Uchiyama).

This event will also be live-streamed, and they’re taking questions on twitter to choose to speak about at the event. Some have been fairly innocuous (an actual question I saw in the tag they’re sourcing from: ”If you were a girl, which of the characters would you want to date and why?”), while others have huge implications on the series (also an actual question: “Did Yuuri buy both rings, or did Victor buy one for Yuuri?”). The answers to these questions, asked by FANS and not casual interviewers with little real stake in the series, may be a BIG DEAL, and that’s all happening starting at 10 PM Tokyo time.

After the talk event, we’ll watch the entire series in a long marathon. At the very end, as the screen fades to black, would be a perfect time to spring on us the news that season 2 is underway, and we have already been promised a new visual exclusive to the event. This is how subsequent seasons or new projects have been announced for some other series in the past, so look for your social media to potentially blow up around 4 AM Tokyo time on Feb 12, when the event is scheduled to end.

I was so over the moon and so intimidated to write a song for the legendary Patti LuPone, words cannot describe! From here Aivi & Surasshu brought such an incredible otherworldly quality to this song… they helped me compose it at it’s earliest stages. It’s so odd to me now to hear this prototype version with ukulele!
