“Gosh, I don’t think you’ve realized how much I missed you too,” her smile was wide with little dimples forming in the center of her cheeks as she was smothered with kisses. “We can go today— nothing’s stopping us at all. Where should we go first though? Maybe swimming since it’s summer? Or to a museum? No matter where we go I think I’ll be happy,” as she spoke this time around Maggie cuddled into her boyfriend’s side. “I also wouldn’t be against more of those ‘I missed you’ gifts.” With an unmoving smile Maggie leaned up to kiss Keith’s chin. 

“Swimming, first. Is there a beach nearby somewhere?” Keith questioned, wrapping his arms around Maggie and leaning into her embrace. Feeling his face flush from her own kisses, it amazed Keith that Maggie had such an effect over him. Even after so long of dating, he felt the usual butterflies fluttering in his stomach. Moving his face so he could kiss her lips, one hand cupped Maggie’s cheek and he allowed himself to deepen the kiss to the best of his abilities. But he didn’t want to get off track though and knowing once he did this he wouldn’t be able to stop, Keith pulled away with a smile. “Did you want to stop and get food to bring along the way too?"

Keith’s eyebrows rose in excitement. “You’re joking! Did you really? I have some money saved too, just in case and-- -” He enveloped his girlfriend into a big hug and peppered her lips with kisses. “This is your thank you gift and also an ‘i missed you’ gift too. When can we go? Can we go today? A spontaneous road trip, I like the sound of that.”

“I made little snowmen treats! Would you care for one? I promise they’re high in calories but also high in fun and cuteness!” Iris’ bubbly little voice was particularly cheery that afternoon.

“Sure, why not. You’re not doing this to poison me are you?” Keith joked, taking one.

“My thanksgivin’ was more than interestin’. Apparently I went home for nothin’ too. I wen’ there ta celebrate only ta learn that my paren’s were goin’ on a cruise-like trip.”
