I’ve been somewhat neglecting tumblr upon discovering the wonders of insta (shameless plug @forrzzz), but I wanted to share some wonderful news with you all.
On August 4th, my relationship with @bear-r reached new heights as we decided that the time had come to get married and really start our wonderful life together. I know it may come as no surprise that we’ve taken the leap, but the relief of it happening has been a huge release of stress for the both of us. Although we have a perilous road of both marriage and immigration planning ahead, it pales in comparison to the thought of my life spent without my beautiful soulmate.
All gushiness aside, I feel like I/we have turned a big ol adult page in our life, and it’s doing wonders on my outlook on life and the future. Now accepting all well wishes and good vibes for our grand adventure. Thank you to all my silent tumblr fam, we’re gonna make it. ✌🏼✨

Forrells and I have been in an international, long-distance relationship for nearly 9 years now. On paper, Canada doesn’t seem that far from Detroit, but in practice I promise it’s not close enough. I am nervous and tbh fairly stressed about the year ahead, but man am I ever stoked to import my fave Canadian!! I am so excited to spend the rest of our lives actually being together in ways we’ve been deprived of our entire time as partners thus far. Cheers to us for stickin’ it out and finally closing the physical gap between each other. 🙏💛🌞🌻✨
