Baby samin is soooo cute…. What I would give for a samin pov on her pre teen and teenage years having to raise her Four year old sister while being a rogue aberrant on her own :(

The lee sisters situation is so sad, samin is terribly codependent and controlling of her sister, but cannot trust the gang that let their mother go and die to help them out, cannot give sayeon up to the concordat where she would be taken care of by complete strangers ntm the risk of her nest getting attacked, with samin being helpless to stop it.

Like even Ryujin’s mom gave Ryujin up because she realized she couldn’t raise Ryujin without conflict from her past, but Samin’s mother was supposed to be the successor of one of the most prolific gangs in the country and was a lvl 10 aberrant, they would always have attention from both rogue aberrants and the corps. assuming the corps were aware of samin’s existence like the rogue aberrants were, samin wouldn’t be able to go with Sayeon to a nest without revealing Sara has a second daughter, but also couldn’t trust she would be entirely safe without samin watching her, leading to. The 11 year old taking care of a 4 year old “when I tell you something you don’t need to ask questions just listen” and all that followed.

They 100% needed an adult figure to step up and Wolhye wouldn’t have been a bad choice (and likely would’ve been much much more compassionate than Sara had been to either of her kids) but she is also responsible for the situation leaving them orphans in the first place. I also feel like baby samin would’ve dog walked wolhye leading samin and sayeon to still have issues since Wolhye seems more like a permissive parent, and they still would’ve been tied to the gang life. (Even though samin would’ve become a criminal regardless..) I think wolhye would at first excuse samin’s behavior as her grieving, and then it would quickly spiral out of hand. Those lee girls are stubborn and want power for sure <3 Though maybe if doyeon really was just a normal husband with enough love to cover sara’s lacking half, and samin deeply cared for him, maybe she could’ve warmed up to wolhye since they were friends too. Still not sure if wolhye can properly discipline them tho… wyd when the woman deeply in love with your mother offers to take you in after your mom dies 😭
