LOVE LIFE

The stars aligned. Sparks penetrated the clear night sky. The bright moon gallantly lit up the purple, blue, black melting pot of the night. Hearts were shattered. Hesitant, with walls up, we treaded the shore. But with a sudden choice, a decision to change, the walls began to crumble.  

Like nymphs we ran in to sea and simultaneously jumped in to a new feeling. Fearless and free, we played...splashing, dancing, sliding in to the cool water unable to distinguish where the sky ended and the body of water started. 

Slowly...removing all that stood in the way... slowly, sliding, slipping away in to the moment. Slowly, releasing all our fears, we entered the night and all its splendor. We were free. Free from the past, the hurts, and the pain we slide out of the dark and in to a new dawn.

Words enter her ears and penetrate her brain.

Words are processed in the folds of the cocoon within the human mind. What is good, bad, right, wrong, beautiful, ugly, forming over the years... each time wrinkling the brain. The brain: wrinkled, wrinkled, yet free from the pressures of botox the mind created toxin for the superficial skin folds from our shell's age.

What should one do? What is the correct path? The wrong path? Ideas: formed by words, visions, sounds, and experiences thus greatly varying from person to person. Guilt, laughter, innocence, purity, happiness. We create. So, her mind grows. It wrinkles. It thinks. She grows and grows in to the socially expected version of herself; wanting to create good feelings. She wants to use the good words, actions, thoughts and receive the correct sense of accomplishment. 

Love, heartache, loss, grief. Love again. Lose again. Cry and then smile again. The mind thinks: what is the next step? She can't sleep. She can't eat. Her physical shell withers away. Her shiny exterior wrinkles and fades yet her eyes still sparkle. On a brisk spring night, her eyes gaze at the moon. Her overactive mind expands. Galaxy. Life. Light. Growth. Flower. Child. Music. Sun. Laughter. Smile. Circle. Hugs. Stories. Laughter. Peace. Stillness. Moon. Darkness. Light. Sun. Dusk. Dark. Moon. She sleeps. Dreams. Her mind folds in to a rainbow: a symphony of colors. The moon shines away. The sun rises once more and her mind melts in to a puddle of colors- blending the primary colors in to a progressive river of darkness. Fear, anxiety, stress all hit deep in the heart of the shell. 

Dreaming, she kicks and squirms. She flinches and twitches. But the sun still rises and peace returns to her mind as the cocoon sheds piece by piece. Slowly, a new life emerges, with the most excruciating pain... but alas! The sun has risen. Her new body shutters to the new world. The last few pieces fall off. She lets go, lets go, lets go... 

Her mind blossoms in to a beautiful butterfly with every color imagined and not yet imagined.  Peace returns. The butterfly attempts to move her new body.With an unexplainable ease, her wings flow with the wind and gradually she flies away in to the wide open springtime sky.
